Keep Your Pets Safe With Bo Regards Fire Safety Plaques {Sponsored Review}

July 1, 2012 by Dawn McAlexander

If you are like me, you love your little fur babies. I know that I would never want anything bad to ever happen to them. One of the things that bothers me is wondering what will happen if there is an emergency such as a fire. Who will get the pets out of the house? If I am incapacitated, how will a rescue worker know how many pets I have to be rescued, or even if I have any at all. If you have these same fears that I do, Bo Regards wants to help you with that.

Bo Regards sent me this beautiful Burnished Brass Fire Safety Plaque to review. They are also available in Burnished Copper and Burnished Nickel. We chose to hang our plaque on our front door. Of course, we hope that nothing ever happens that will make this plaque necessary, but it is always best to be safe. I love my little doggies {and all my other pets, too – don’t worry, Bo Regards has them covered, as well} and want to make sure they are safe at all times.

Not only is this plaque practical, but wow, look how pretty it is! Bo Regards also included in my package some nice stickers to affix to my other doors. You could also put these on your windows or wherever else you feel is appropriate. We used dry erase markers on them so that we can change the number of each type of pet, as needed.

My husband put this sticker on our basement door that is closest to our driveway. He also wrote the types of pets we have for the “other” category as we have an anole, an aquatic turtle and a guinea pig who would also appreciate being rescued. 🙂

This sticker was attached to our back sliding glass door {see our shades, lol}. My husband didn’t write the types of animals on this one, so it is much more readable. There is room to do that on this sticker as well, if you would like. Our package also came with a pamphlet on fire safety in the home, a printout so that you can make an evacuation plan to put on your refrigerator and a fire stats sheet. I am really glad that Bo Regards sent me this package to review as I consider my pets a part of the family and I would like to have them around for many more years to come!

    I love this, my pets are my family and if a fire ever did happen I would want them saved, I can’t imagine losing them 🙁

    I’d love to own one of these. I have a rescue my pets sign but not this nice.

    This is so much more attractive and durable than those stickers – I have one pealing off my back door as we speak.

    I like this plaque. It’s very nice looking. In conjunction with the stickers on our other entrances I would feel very secure in knowing that if something were to happen that rescuers would be able to find our fur babies. The stickers that we use get so “icky” looking so quickly we have to replace them all the time. A plaque would be a nice alternative for our main entrance.

    Thanks for the great review. I know that firefighters are trained to look for animals, but this kind of plaque really helps them – particularly when used with the stickers where you can list the exact number & kind of beasties that live with you.

    I love this sign warning that pets are inside. I have been looking for sometihng along these lines for a while. We have a little sticker in the window that some pet organization sent us but this is much more substantial

    Great review–I often worry if my pets will be safe in an emergency since we have so many!

    […] It is no secret, my family loves our pets. We have 2 dogs, 4 cats and an aquatic turtle. Our two dogs sleep with us every night and they are the most comfy snuggle buddies you will ever find. I love to post about my pets and if you would like to play catch up, some of my favorite posts include National Dress Up Your Pet Day and what pet I would like to be for a day.
