When the good folks at HGTV Home Furniture offered us the opportunity to review an accent piece for them, we jumped at the chance to grab one of their glorious Accent Bombe Chests from Bassett Furniture, a part of the HGTV Home Furniture Collection.

The beautiful and stylish Accent Bombe Chest is available in four colors: Top Sail (an offwhite color), Indigo Blue, Riverway (a greenish color), and Watery (a light blue). We chose the Indigo Blue. Our home is basically neutral, earth tone colors throughout and we felt that the Indigo Blue would add just the right amount of eye-catching “pop” without being too flashy. I don’t want to sound too arrogant here, but our idea was spot on! The Indigo Blue Accent Bombe Chest went into our kitchen, and it looks so good in there. But, the Accent Bombe Chest is not just beautiful, it is functional as well.

We decided to use our Accent Bombe Chest as a buffet table in the kitchen. With two storage drawers, the bottom one being cedar-lined, the Accent Bombe Chest is perfect for just about any room in your home! You could use it as a night stand in your bedroom, or use it in your foyer to store gloves, scarfs, etc. Or you could use it to store toys for your children. This Accent Bombe Chest is just so functional, the possibilities are really endless.

We also had the opportunity to see the Accent Bombe Chest in a home setting other than our own when we visited HGTV Furniture’s Showroom at the International Home Furnishings Market in High Point, NC on April 21, 2013. HGTV Home Furniture’s displays were gorgeous and we enjoyed seeing all of the new furniture that will be released in the coming months. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, and we intend to go back to the furniture market again really soon.
