Master storyteller Dolly Parton opened a personal story featuring the romantic tale of her parents meeting and the rousing rivalry between the Owens and the Partons. Spiced with Parton’s songs and storytelling, the show is a Smoky Mountain story that is receiving rave reviews.
“The guests who have been previewing the show love it,” Parton said. “This is a story about my family that is fun and exciting but there is also a lot of heart. It’s a sweet story about my parents meeting but it is also an exciting competition between the Owens and the Partons.”
After the success of Dolly’s NBC movies about her childhood, Dolly Parton’s Smoky Mountain Adventures Dinner and Show will take guests on a journey that ultimately shapes the very beginnings of Dolly’s family – the time her parents met and fell in love.
Guests will enjoy a four-course feast as they watch amazing acrobatic performers display their abilities on trampoline, Chinese poles, aerial silks suspended three stories above the stage and in the amazing Electro-wheel.

That is so much fun! We’ve been to Dollywood and taken in some of the shows there. They’re always so high energy and fun. I can’t wait to see this one.

I have never been to Dollywood. My Dad is a big Dolly Parton fan and I have no doubt that he wouild enjoy going to this show.
I have never been to Dollywood or Tennessee in general, but it’s definitely on my bucket list. I’m a huge country music fan and Dolly Parton fan, that’s pretty much my dream U.S. vacation.

Each time we’ve been to TN Dollywood was closed. We really need to make sure we plan to go when its open because I would love to go to one of these shows!
