Visitors of Vacation Myrtle Beach will be watching closely to see if Punxsutawney Phil sees his shadow on February 2. In a town where there is an average of more than 200 sunny days per year, six more weeks of a mild winter would not necessarily be a bad thing.
“We’re going to leave this special up to Punxsutawney Phil and let him make the call on this one for us! If he decides we get six more weeks of winter, then we’ll have a great winter special. If he decides that spring is coming early, then we’ve got a special to celebrate that as well,” said Matt Klugman of Vacation Myrtle Beach. “Either way, we’re confident Phil is going to pick out a great deal for our visitors to get some great beach time.”
“If the groundhog sees his shadow, they will be offering an exciting winter special for those looking to book a stay in Myrtle Beach. With mild temperatures and plenty of sunny days, winter is an excellent time to visit Myrtle Beach,” Klugman said.
However, if the groundhog does not see its shadow, predicting that spring will arrive early, the group of 14 resorts will offer a spring deal, which will be valid for most stay dates beginning February 2 through late spring.

We have several friends who love to go to Myrtle Beach and can’t say enough how great a place it is. Guess I am going to have to put this on my list of visit.
Myrtle Beach is one of my favorite beaches to visit in the states. I love the vibe of the town, and the beaches are absolutely gorgeous.
