Landmark Resort Review: Affordability And Fun In Myrtle Beach #ad #MyrtleBeach

Landmark Resort Review: Affordability And Fun In Myrtle Beach #ad #MyrtleBeachCheap Is The New Classy

On our recent trip to Myrtle Beach, we got the opportunity to stay at the Landmark Resort. I have to admit I was quite excited with this opportunity. On all our trips to Myrtle Beach, Landmark Resort has been one of the places that I had wanted to stay at. We finally got the chance, and I was ready to take full advantage of it. It just looks so cool on the outside, with this Mayan-type pyramid design on the side of the parking garage, complete with a water feature and everything. I wasn’t disappointed, let me tell you.

Landmark Resort Review

Landmark Resort has been a staple of the Myrtle Beach area for awhile now. Perhaps that’s why they are called Landmark? But, anyway, Landmark Resort has so much to offer that it is almost impossible to list them all here. If your business is in need of conference space, Landmark Resort has plenty of it, with over 20,000 square feet of meeting space available. Just want to get away with the family? Landmark has 17 water features on site, including lazy rivers, hot tubs, whirlpools, swimming pools and even an on site water park to entertain the kids. There is also a nine hole mini golf course on premises.

Of course, you are going to get hungry. Landmark Resort offers several dining options, including the Gazebo Restaurant, which is open daily for breakfast, and Latitudes Grill is open for lunch and dinner and serves as a bar until the early hours of the morning. By the pools outside, there is also Shark Bites Snack Bar, The Tipsy Turtle Pool Bar and Seaside Pizzeria, all open during peak season. So, there are plenty of opportunities to eat.

It's a beautiful day. We're at Myrtle Beach. There's coffee. What's not to love? #coffee #MyrtleBeach #coffeelovers #coffeeeveryday #coffeetime #instacoffee #SouthCarolina #happyguest #travelgram #traveling #instatravel #alwaysexploring #neverstopexploring #natgeotravelpic #frommers #travelblogger #travelblog #travelbreak #traveldeeper #travels #igtravel #lonelyplanet #passportready #travelstoke #traveldudes #roamtheplanet #igpossetravels #worldtravelpics #lovetheworld #travel [sponsored] @vacationmb

Landmark Resort Review: Affordability And Fun In Myrtle Beach #ad #MyrtleBeach

Since it was the off season, the pool side attractions weren’t open for us to review, but one thing that we did take full advantage of was the Havana Java Bar that was located in the main lobby. It served delicious coffee drinks as well as pastries and other beverages as well. You could find us every morning in the lobby, ordering our favorite coffee drinks to start our day. That was fabulous, and something that is different from most other hotels that we have stayed in at Myrtle Beach. We also ate breakfast at the Gazebo pretty much every morning. Their buffet isn’t huge, but it has enough to get you full, and the food was very good, too, both on the buffet and the menu.

As for the rooms, well, our room was quite nice. We had a deluxe oceanfront executive suite. It featured two double beds, a Murphy bed and a sleeper sofa. That was enough room to sleep up to eight people. It also had a full kitchen and a very sweet bathroom, with a privacy door for the toilet and shower. So, I could be at the sink, brushing my teeth or shaving, while Dawn was in the shower and she could still have her privacy. That was pretty nice.

Landmark Resort Review: Affordability And Fun In Myrtle Beach #ad #MyrtleBeach

The view from our balcony was really nice. We could see the ocean and the beach, right there outside our window. We spent a lot of time out on that balcony enjoying the view with a nice coffee drink in our hands. I was really relaxed the entire time I was there. The only thing that we could really complain about was the wifi which is often a problem in hotels unfortunately. There were several different wifi signals in the resort to choose from, but it seemed as though none of them worked in the living room area or, if they did work, it was slow. We finally discovered, on our next to last day there, that if we moved to the bedroom at the front of the suite, that the signal would pick up there and it worked pretty well then, too.

Thank you, @VacationMB for the wonderful getaway for me and my husband. 🙂

I really enjoyed Landmark Resort, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a good place to stay in Myrtle Beach. It has a family friendly atmosphere and a lot to offer on premises so that you do not have to leave if you do not want to. Also, the winter is a great time to go to the beach. No huge crowds! And it’s so affordable. Right now, rooms start at less than $40 a night with Vacation Myrtle Beach! With a ton of resorts to choose from, I am sure there is at least one that you and your family will love.

That looks like a great hotel. We love hitting Myrtle Beach, and the only thing that can spoil it is a bad hotel. I think we’ll stay here the next time head out that way.
