As I always tell you guys, I am not a chef. I am also not rich. What?! Anyway, I like to eat tasty food just as much as the next person, but I can’t always afford to go out to eat or order in. So, I have to make some yumminess at home. So, if you are looking for some Game Day yumminess, that is also easy to make and inexpensive to buy ingredients for, I think you have come to the right place. Allow me to introduce you to our Game Day French Onion Cheeseburger Sliders Recipe.

You Will Need…

3 pounds ground beef {you can substitute ground turkey if you like}
3 cups of your favorite cheese {we use cheddar}
2 24 packs of dinner rolls
1 2 pack of onion soup mix
2 eggs

To Prepare…

1. First, mix all of the ground beef, eggs and both packs of onion soup mix in a bowl. Be sure to mix thoroughly.

2. Next, cook the ground beef mixture on the stove on medium until fully browned.

3. While the ground beef cooks, cut each of the dinner rolls open. Put the bottoms on 2 cooking sheets {12 on each} and set the tops to the side.

4. Cover the roll bottoms with half of the cheese, set the other half aside.

5. When the ground beef mixture is fully cooked, either drain it or use a slotted spoon to drain as you go. Cover the roll bottoms with the mixture, trying to do it as evenly as possible.

6. Cover the roll bottoms with the remaining cheese and the roll tops.

7. Cook in a 350ยฐ pre-heated oven for 15-20 minutes until the cheese is melted thoroughly. Happy Game Day!

    I shop at Save-A-Lot especially for our game day snacks. Go Patriots. An appetizer that always goes quick is sweet ans sour Kielbasa. I only use Kielbasa, BBQ sauce and grape jelly. I can get all of the ingredients at Save-A-Lot for under $6.00. What a deal.
