How You Can Help Clorox Donate $100,000 To Schools In Need #sponsored

How You Can Help Clorox Donate $100,000 To Schools In Need #sponsoredCheap Is The New Classy

It’s almost time for the kids to go back to school. And we all know that kids deserve the best shot at a great education possible. The Clorox Company has partnered with DonorsChoose.org to provide $100,000 to schools in need and you can help. You can help earn rewards for you or area schools with Clorox’s new receipt rewards program.

Clorox To Donate $100,000 To Schools In Need

We all know that this time of year can be quite hectic. With school starting back, new schedules, homework, games, etc., there isn’t a lot of time left in the day. That is where Clorox®, GLAD® and Hidden Valley® products come in. They help to simplify the process of getting back into the school routine for parents and teachers by making cleaning of homes and classrooms so much easier. They also provide great storage solutions that make meal and snack time so much easier.

This year, Clorox has teamed up with DonorsChoose.org to make giving so much easier, too. School supply shopping even simpler for those in need with Clorox’s $100,000 donation to DonorsChoose.org, a charity website that helps teachers get the funds they need for various classroom projects and supplies.

Returning to school after the summer can be overwhelming for some students. It can also be quite overwhelming for teachers, too, as they often pay out of pocket for many of the supplies needed in classrooms.

This is “…why we are excited to team with The Clorox Company this year,” said Charles Best, Founder and CEO of DonorsChoose.org. “Through this partnership, we will be able to ensure teachers have what they need so they can focus on what matters: their students.”

Clorox will be providing a “Double Your Impact” offer on DonorsChoose.org. This means that they will match donors’ contributions dollar-for-dollar. This means that by donating to a project with The Clorox Company match offer, your donation will be doubled, increasing your impact in the areas it is needed most.

What Can You Do?

You can help by shopping. With Clorox’s new receipt validation program people all across the country can help schools. You will earn rewards when you buy Clorox®, Hidden Valley® and Glad® products. Then you can choose to donate your rewards to DonorsChoose.org or you can redeem your rewards for money back via Paypal.

Also, for every $5 spent on participating products, you will receive $1* that you can either redeem as a donation to DonorsChoose.org or you can use it for money off on future purchases.

Your reward, your choice. And it’s super easy! All you have to do is snap a picture of your receipt and follow the instructions on CloroxForSchools.com to redeem your rewards.

Be Sure To Check Out Clorox Pop-Up Shops Around The Country

In addition to the DonorsChoose.org partnership, Clorox will host pop-up shops in communities in Chicago and Philadelphia. At each event, essential school supplies and products from Clorox, Glad and Hidden Valley Ranch will be distributed free of charge so that families and teachers can focus on having a happy and healthy school year, rather than worrying about the cost of school supplies.

For more information, visit www.Cloroxforschools.com. To donate to Clorox’s match offer projects, go to www.DonorsChoose.org and search for Match Offers.

TERMS & CONDITIONS: Between 7/12/16 and 9/30/16, purchase any qualifying Clorox, Glad or Hidden Valley product(s). Then, choose to participate in the Offer or the Donation program. If you choose to participate in the Offer, your Offer will be fulfilled 10/31/16. If you choose to participate in the Donation, Clorox will donate $1 for every $5 spent to DonorsChoose.org (up to $100,000 in donations). For all details, including a list of qualifying products, see the Program Terms www.cloroxforschools.com. For details about DonorsChoose.org, visit DonorsChoose.org.

I am really impressed by companies that do stuff like this. I think one of the most important things that we can give to is anything that helps children to be able to have a better future.

What an amazing initiative by Clorox. I know a lot of teachers who pay for supplies out of pocket. I try to give a little extra when I can to help out other parents who may not be able to swing extra supplies.

That is really awesome of you. You are right, many parents can’t give as much as they might like. But someone has to do it, and that often lies with the teachers.

What a great way to support local schools! It seems like the list of “needs” in the schools grows every year. Having a way to get extra supplies is great!
