    I really haven’t had anything lucky or fortunate happen lately. Perhaps the fact that I am fortunate enough to have a friend help me dig my car out when it snows too much is one lucky thing. 🙂

      Our neighbor helped dig my daughter’s car out a couple days ago, too, when she was stuck in mud from the snow. That is definitely fortunate. 🙂

    Something fortunate that has happened to my family lately: we have been able to save enough money that we could all go to Disney World as a gift for my daughter’s graduation. We’ve also been able to save enough money to bring my parents and one of my daughter’s friends. It’s been tight; but, just knowing that we can save that kind of money and not use credit cards is a huge blessing of knowledge to apply in the future!

However, not only did she have a flawless surgery, she was back home the next night resting and recovering. I call that a Blessing but others might call it luck. Whichever it is, I am grateful!

    A little kitten I recently met named Tarzan was very fortunate to be adopted from our local animal shelter by my mother-in-law. She saved his life…now that’s pretty lucky!     Something fortunate that has happened to me is that I have some angels that have helped me out when I needed it the most! My dog needs surgery on her leg and I am on SSDI and can’t afford it, so some Angels have donated funds towards her surgery and I can’t possibly tell you how incredibly lucky and fortunate that has made me!! I still have a lot needed for her surgery, but we are raising funds every day towards it! I’m lucky to have people in my corner that care about me and my dog the way I do!!

    Something fun I did today ~ I went to the Dollar Tree and bought a few bags of candy suckers and mini twix, then went to Walmart and bought my dog a toy. I then went to the post office and mailed a package to my friend in Florida. She is always sending me little packages with goodies in them so I wanted to do something nice for her in return. I don’t have much money so I sent her a necklace that is a Moon and Star and it says “I Love You To The Moon And Back” on it and I put a bunch of suckers and some mini twix candies in the package and mailed it out to her today. Just a little something to let her know I appreciate her and love her. 🙂

    Here’s some luck – Last month on my uncle’s farm property I went ‘prospecting’ with a fewmates aka bush bashing for the fun. We came across a stone with a funny symbol on it and the ground looked lumpy so we dug and found a cache. We had to bash the lock open but inside was a wad of old bank notes and coins worth about $600 (apparently a collectors item) and a pendant (worthless but cool). We think it was a secret stash from WWI that nobody has found for decades.

    Well I really needed to buy my daughter clothes and get my yard done (because of the landlord) So I decided its more important to keep my house right now and buy clothes next payday. Well that same day I won $200 paypal cash which I had never won before and I bought a Kohls gift card with it and was able to get my daughter 8 outfits and 2 packs of socks. That just made my day and I feel that was really lucky.

    Almost exactly a year ago my grandmother “died” during emergency surgery. They were able to get a heart beat and she pulled through that. They did put her on life support and called the family in to say goodbye. 2 days later she was off life support and home a week later. Her 81st birthday is in 6 days 🙂
