This post brought to you by Manwich. All opinions are 100% mine.

We love Shepherds Pie in this home, but recently we decided to change it up and try our version featuring Manwich. Manwich is a tangy, hearty sauce that kids love. Our daughter, Amber, especially loves Shepherds Pie, but it really kicks it up a notch when you add Manwich to this Shepherds Pie recipe.
Manwich Shepherds Pie Recipe

Manwich Shepherds Pie Recipe Ingredients:
1 can Manwich Thick & Chunky or Manwich Bold
1 pound ground beef {93% lean}
1 pack pie crusts {contains 2 that you roll out}
1/2 medium onion
5 medium potatoes
1 cup shredded cheese of your choosing {we used Cheddar}
1/4 cup of milk
2 tbsps butter

Manwich Shepherds Pie Recipe Preparation:
1. Cut your potatoes into chunks and boil them until tender. This usually takes about 20-30 minutes.
2. While the potatoes are boiling, brown your ground beef in a skillet. Cut the onion up and add it into the ground beef while it is browning. Then drain the excess grease from the ground beef.
3. Add can of Manwich to the ground been and stir until even. Allow to cook on low heat for about 10 minutes. Set aside.
4. Once the potatoes are tender, drain the water. Add the milk and butter to the potatoes and mash until creamy.

5. Take one of the pie shells and press into a 9×9 square casserole dish.
6. Add the mashed potatoes to the pie shell.
7. Add the cup of cheese on top of the potatoes.

8. Add the Manwich mixture to the top of the cheese.
9. Finally, add the top pie shell, making sure to pinch the ends together securely so that your Manwich Shepherd Pie doesn't come out all over your oven.
10. Cook at 425 for 20-30 minutes or until the pie crust is golden brown on top.
11. Let cool for 5-10 minutes before serving. Enjoy!

Why Choose Manwich?
What we really love is that Manwich is free of artificial flavors and preservatives. Did you know that Manwich also contains vegetables – which we all know can sometimes be difficult to get kids to eat? If you are looking for tasty and Easy Weeknight Meals, Manwich comes in 3 great tasting varieties: Original, Bold and Thick & Chunky. We have used both Bold and Thick & Chunky for the Shepherds Pie recipe but prefer Thick & Chunky just a bit more. With 3 flavors, you can always just experiment and see which Manwich variety you like best, too.
