I love my pictures. Each one of my pictures hold a special memory and/or feeling. So when I was offered a chance to review WeMontage, I jumped at the opportunity.
WeMontage is a website where you transform your favorite pictures into removable wallpaper. This is great for renters or anyone who doesn’t want to put holes in their walls with nails.

Frames Can Be Such A Pain, Literally

I thought one above my bed would look great, which I still think that. My daughter also wanted one in her room. Because she dances a lot in her room, pictures often fall off her walls. So with that in mind, plus the fact that her birthday is coming up, I decided to let her make one for herself.

“When picture frames fall short and leave you with lifeless spaces, the WeMontage website easily transforms your memorable and inspiring images into removable photo wallpaper. WeMontage empowers its customers to “live beyond the frame.” – James {WeMontage}

Making the WeMontage custom wallpaper was so easy! First, we picked out what size we wanted the WeMontage to be and then we uploaded the pictures that she wanted to use onto their website. After that, Jacklyn clicked “Create A WeMontage” and it is sent us to the page with a preview of our WeMontage. Also, if you don’t like the way they have it organized you can shuffle the pictures or move them around yourself. You can also pick the width and color of the margins. Jacklyn picked a green color to match the closets in her room.

Making A WeMontage Is Easy!

Jacklyn did everything except for uploading the pictures and she is turning 11 in a couple of weeks. So, for her to have done this, that should tell you how easy the WeMontage website is to use. She loved playing with the shuffle tool and rearranging the pictures and kept telling us how fun she thought it was.

Putting it up was easy too. First we got a piece of chalk, a tape measure, and a level. Then, my husband measured a foot from the top of the ceiling down because that is how far from the top we wanted it. We marked that area and then did the same thing a couple feet away from the first chalk mark. We put the level at the two chalk marks and made sure it was even, then drew a line for where the WeMontage would go.

All we had to do after that was take off the back from the WeMontage and line the top of it with the line we drew on the wall and it was perfect. It held great! My daughter loves it! I can’t wait til I get one for my bedroom.

My daughter is so proud of her WeMontage. It has some of her favorite pictures/memories in it. Some of the pictures in her WeMontage include: her first dance, the day her friend came home from the hospital after having heart surgery, and her in her Halloween costume. I highly recommend this company.

    Really crafty, cute, and personal. A great way to showcase your memories. My daughter loves photography and montages but he frames can be costly and detract from the images. These clean lines.nd solid colored background set them off.

    I wish I would have known about this a couple of years ago. My Grandkids hung all their picture in their bedroom with thumb tacks. Do you know the many holes that you can make with a bunch of pictures and thumb tacks.

    • Dawn McAlexander says

      Oh no! Thumb tack holes are a pain, too. There can be so so many of them in one small area.

Of course now, with the cloud and other online storage devices, it isn’t as big of an issue. I guess that’s besides the point. But anyway, I just love this and I think it would make a wonderful birthday or holiday gift.
