Somerton Dwelling Cocktail Tables - Milan Cocktail Table #adCheap Is The New Classy

Somerton Dwelling offers several gorgeous cocktail tables. I chose the Milan Cocktail Table because I blog in the living room as I refuse to be quarantined to one room of the house. You know what that means? Mess – all over the living room! For those of you who don’t blog, blogging involves WAY more than just a computer and a calendar. So, the Milan Cocktail Table has a great bottom shelf {which I intend to line with baskets to keep all of my blogging stuff in} and a great drawer which I am currently using for pens, pencils and treats for my two little furry helpers. 😉

All decked out in exotic detailed veneers and arched, sweeping lines, Milan speaks to the essence of contemporary European style. Featuring rich walnut veneers, with exotic Zebrano accents, in a clear polished medium brown satin finish, Milan gives props to early 20th century Art Nouveau architect and furniture designer, Charles Rennie MackIntosh, in some of its signature dramatic flair.

Milan offers Somerton Dwelling’s standard quality construction with full extension drawer glides, English dovetail joining and stain finished drawer interiors. If contemporary is your look, you’ll fall in love with Milan. Absolutely.

I just think the wood on this piece is fabulous! I am not sure how much you can tell from the picture, but it has a reddish-goldish hue that kind of sparkles when the light hits it. The color is just fabulous. But this piece of furniture is not just pretty to look at. Cocktail tables are so versatile. You can really use them for tons of things in your home. We are using ours as a coffee table, but you could also stick it in your foyer as a place to put mittens, scarves, etc. You could also use a cocktail table in a bedroom to put your TV on. Or how about in the kitchen as a buffet? The options are really endless.

I found the perfect piece to be my new Bed & Breakfast Hutch by day Wine n Dine Hutch by night for my bedroom. Yup that’s right for my bedroom. It’s called the Whatever Your Heart Desires. Perfect right. Love the name of it even. Picture it. Keurig coffee maker in the middle with a K- cups stainless holder filled with our favorite k-cups. His n Her coffee mugs on one shelf , tea cups n Saucers on another (oh yes we love tea), cute sugar bowl on another , those little coffee creamer cups in every flavor possible (never know what flavor your going to be craving). Of course it will double as an evening entertainment wine n cracker hutch so wine rack on the bottom filled with favorite wines in the middle bottom shelf and long stem wine glasses above that. It’s something I have been wanting to add to my bedroom for a long time. No more running to the kitchen for a morning cup of coffee instead we can lounge for a bit in the bedroom. So much more special. Oh and I found this great mirror for the bathroom it’s called the Snow white Mirror. I really liked the shape of it. Thanks for sharing the Somerton Dwelling Live The Life You Love review.

I think the Manhattan coffee table is brilliant. It is on the small side, but has a cool pull out extension. I really like the oval shape because when my grandkids come over to visit I don’t want them to bump their noggin on pointy edges and get stitches like my oldest child did.

    • Dawn McAlexander says

Poor child. I know my daughter fell one time and popped her head on the corner of the coffee table. Though she didn’t have to get stitches, she did have one heck of a shiner. Poor kid. I didn’t have a coffee table for a long time after that.

I would love to create a great storage center for my crafting supplies. I would use the Improv in G system in the Freestyle collection. It gives me so many options and I could create a couple of smaller ones also.

I like the claire-de-lune panel bed. That is much nicer than the metal bed frame we currently have. Wood always looks more classy than plastic and metal furniture.

I also like the Claire De Lune Panel Bed. I would use it in my guest bedroom. It is so pretty!

I love the “GIVE ME A HUG” bed. I’d replace our old bed in the master bedroom with it, it looks so comfortable.

I am LOVING the CLAIRE DE LUNE DRESSER. It would go in the bedroom of course. This is absolutely beautiful!! The color goes with the furniture that is currently in there, so it would fit perfectly!
