Over the past couple of years, we have shared some of our favorite recipes with you including Slow Cooker Macaroni and Cheese, Slow Cooker Chili and Easy Chicken Bake. Could you imagine what these might taste like in potato chip form? That is exactly what Lay’s wants you to do in the “Do Us A Flavor” potato chip contest.

Perhaps you have a secret recipe that you use in one of your dishes that everyone is just dying to find out about? Then the Lay’s “Do Us A Flavor” potato chip contest may be just what you were made for.
Every Thanksgiving we are sure to make out Slow Cooker Macaroni and Cheese. This is a must have dish that we always serve around the holidays. So, I wonder what it would taste like as a chip? I think that would be a really interesting potato chip flavor, for sure. Also, what about Chicken Bake or Slow Cooker Chili? When I told you about this contest a little while back, I went to check out what others were submitting for the contest. Chili came up A LOT. So, I know that I am not the only one interested in trying this flavor combo out.
How To Enter The Lay’s “Do Us A Flavor” Potato Chip Contest
The Lay’s “Do Us A Flavor” potato chip contest, you can submit your tasty ideas for the next great Lay’s potato chip flavor. Up for grabs is a cool $1 million grand prize {See Rules}. A group of flavor experts including chefs, foodies and others will choose the four potato chip contest finalist flavors. They will then be developed and maketed by Frito-Lay’s culinary experts and unveiled in summer 2014. Your potato chip contest creation could be seen on shelves nation wide this summer! Fans will then vote for the finalist flavor that they want to keep on store shelves. The finalist behind the winning potato chip contest flavor will take home the million dollar grand prize {See Rules}!
This contest ends on April 5th, so make sure that you get your entries in soon.

I shouldn’t have looked at this post whilst hungry! Both sound yummy but then I think of the ingredients…
My husband had me submit a couple of flavors for this contest. He’s not even a contest man and this one’s got him excited.

I am not sure i would eat those 2 flavors listed.. I will have to submit to see what i can come up with.
Hmmm… neither of those favors sound very good for chips ?!? I am not sure those would be my top picks!

Both flavors sound really good. I would have to go with the cheddar bacon wedges though.

Lays are sure coming out with some interesting flavors. Some are good, but most are miss for me. I like my chips simple 🙂
Luckily most of them won’t be hitting the shelves. People can submit flavors until the contest ends and then only the best will make it. 🙂
sounds tasty and amazing. i haven’t tried the new lay’s flavor but you got my curiosity there. I’ve always like lay’s chips, you can really compare it as the cheaper and thinner version of pringles. anyway, sounds like an interesting contest, but I am only good at eating not experimenting or cooking for that matter.
Those are definitely some interesting flavors. I guess I would try them, not sure I would buy them.

I have an idea for potato chip flavor. white chocolate chips, a lot of people like white choc. I have been making white and choco covered chips for about 30 years at holiday time. They are great.
I would like a Potato Salad Potato Chip!
