On our recent excursion to Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, we got to check out Magiquest and Pirate Black Light Golf. We were already familiar with Magiquest from our visit to the one in Myrtle Beach a few years back. If you have not visited a Magiquest site, then let me tell you, you are in for a treat! Magiquest really is a lot of fun for all ages.

At Magiquest, you travel back in time, to the land of dragons, fairies and wizards. There you get to attempt to become a grand wizard yourself. You get a wand and then you go on a whole list of adventures to try to prove your wizardry skills. With each task you complete, you get one step closer to obtaining your goal of becoming a grand wizard. Be prepared to walk, so bring comfortable shoes.

There are several adventures and quests that you may take at Magiquest and you simply can’t do them all in one day. To keep it interesting, the quests also change over time. The cool thing is that your wand can save all your information, so that if you return, either to the same location or to another one, you can use your own wand to continue to play – right where you left off!

Located in the same building as Magiquest is Pirate Black Light Golf. This is a indoor miniature golf course that is completely lit by black lights. The lighting and art work, designed to resemble a pirate ship, are so cool! They make your mini-golf experience unique and even more fun than any normal mini-golf course. Each hole has its own set of unique challenges as well. This course is great for the mini-golf enthusiast in your family.

So, as you can tell, the Magiquest complex offers a lot of fun and entertainment under one roof. All the adventures located here, which also includes The Vault (a laser light maze), and the Odyssey Mirror Maze, are great for all ages, as are many things in the town of Pigeon Forge. So, be sure to check out Magiquest and Pirate Black Light Golf on your next visit to Pigeon Forge.

How fun! Black Light golf is fun by itself. When you add the pirate aspect and all their features, my whole family would enjoy it. This place sounds amazing. Tennessee has so many things to offer that I never realized. Thank you for talking about all of them. Have you thought about getting together a post or two on top places in Tennessee for kids and top for adults. I am now really interested in going.

That sounds like a great idea for some posts. We don’t know a ton about the entire state of Tennessee, but we do know our way around the Smoky Mountains pretty well. I think I will talk to my teen and see if she wants to write the kiddie one. Thanks ๐Ÿ™‚

I really love random fun things like this. Mini golf, roller rinks, etc… This looks like it would be a ton of fun, especially all the glow in the dark, black-light accents. – Katy

We have a blacklight Mini Golf near us, but nothing like Magiquest, I am jealous! It’s so cool that your ‘wand’ saves your information for your next visit!

Oh my gosh! When we first arrived at Pigeon Forge, we went to the Mellow Mushroom. We had never been to one before but a couple of our friends told us that it was so good, so we tried it out! It was fabulous! We will definitely go again!

Wow, all of these attractions sound like fun! I’m sure there are other attractions suited for younger kids, but these you’ve listed seem appropriate for everyone age 15+ I’m intrigued about Magiquest, but I would love to try out the black light golf and the mazes! I’ve only been to Tennessee once, but I know now that Pigeon Forge is a definite must-see (and enjoy) site for the future!
