Christmas is the time of giving and I love shopping for my family. But, you know what? It’s also time to think about what I want for Christmas. Just like Toby Keith said, “I wanna talk about me, me, me, me, me.” Let me share with you some tips to having yourself a selfish little Christmas. 😉

What I want and cannot have is my children and grandchildren to all be together. We are all in different states so it just cannot happen. I will be having Christmas however with my sisters and nephews

I want the Garth Brooks collection (also how I already had a selfish Christmas) and candles. I went back and forth about spending the money for the collection and finally decided that my family could get it for me for my Christmas. I, of course, went and got it, but my daughter said that was ok.
I would like a new camera for Christmas and I plan to have a somewhat selfish Christmas, because I refused to make a big Christmas dinner this year. We are having cold cuts and crudites platters.
A veggie platter is a nice option I think. Sounds good. 🙂
What I am hoping is not materialistic so all I can say is that I wish our (hubby and I) three wishes come true this holiday.

All I really want is a new stroller since mine broke the other week. Not sure how I plan to be selfish…guess I’ll probably keep a bag of M&M’s all to myself.
I would love to have gotten an I-Pad or a new laptop computer. But I know that isn’t possible right now. But I did have a wonderful Christmas.

It was a good Christmas. Talked on the phone to faraway relatives.
I really would like a Nespresso machine for Christmas. Even though it’s not practical or affordable I still really want one. I think the most selfish that I get for Christmas is splurging on eggnog lattes.
What I want for Christmas is a set of woodturning chisels and gouges for my new wood lathe. I didn’t get them, but I got 2 new coats (really needed them), new slippers (also needed), new sweatpants (again, needed), new portable project bench with adjustable clamps (not needed, but really useful) and a stocking full of candy and treats. The best part of Christmas though, was watching my 13 year-old son and my fiance open their presents. I’ll get the chisels later on next year.
I just wanted my children and grandchild to travel safely to and back from our house for Christmas and they did. We had a great time being all together.

I had a great time with family on Christmas… If I could have gotten something selfish.. an ipad!
I really wanted to get out of town and away from home for a few days for Christmas. Since I couldn’t manage that, I’ve arranged to go cat sit for a friend for a week. At least it’s a different part of town and I’ll be away from home.
