Enjoy Music Wirelessly With Sound Spot Bluetooth Speakers #sponsored @Soundfreaq #MC #SoundSpot

November 28, 2013 by Jay Crawford

I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Soundfreaq. I received a Soundfreaq Sound Spot to facilitate my review.

There is never enough music in our home. There, I said it. I feel like we just don’t have enough stereos in the house. However, none of us likes to see a huge stereo system with wires run all over the place sitting in any of our rooms. We are always searching for alternative options for music listening that are a little less conspicuous. So, when Soundfreaq offered us the opportunity to review their new Sound Spot Bluetooth Wireless Speaker System, we were more than happy to give it a try.

Soundfreaq Sound Spot Bluetooth Speakers Provide Great Sound Without Compromising Space and Style

Soundfreaq Sound Spot bluetooth speakers are stylish, unique and small. A single speaker is slightly larger than a cd jewel case as far as height and width, and about as deep as a double cd jewel case. That’s very compact for a speaker of it’s sound quality. With it’s rechargeable lithium-ion battery with up to 7 hours of life per charge, it is also quite portable.

But don’t let the size fool you. Soundfreaq Sound Spot bluetooth speakers have a dynamic sound that is both clear and strong. When we were listening to ours for the first time, I was in the kitchen, with a wall between me and the Soundfreaq Sound Spot, and I could still hear it clearly.

As I mentioned before, the Soundfreaq Sound Spot is also stylish. It is available in basic black as well as a wood grain finish that compliments our beachy home decor perfectly. So, not only do we get a cool speaker system for our beachy bedroom, but we also get something that is decorative and goes with the rest of our decor.

How To Operate The Soundfreaq Sound Spot

You’re wondering just how the Soundfreaq Sound Spot works, aren’t you? Well, let me tell you it is quite simple. Soundfreaq Sound Spot bluetooth speakers come with a USB cable that can be used to charge your Soundfreaq Sound Spot bluetooth speakers in any standard USB slot on your computer, phone or tablet. You should do this before using the Sound Spot.

Connect Your Soundfreaq Sound Spot Using Bluetooth Technology

Next, there are a couple of ways to use your Soundfreaq Sound Spot for listening. The first is to connect via Bluetooth to a music playing device with Bluetooth capability. This can be your phone, tablet or maybe even your computer. Just press the “pair” button on top of the Soundfreaq Sound Spot, and turn on your Bluetooth on the device you are listening from, search for devices, and pair to the Sound Spot. Then start streaming your music. You can use music streaming apps such as Pandora and I Heart Radio from your phone if you like. From the image below, you can see where we have paired with the the Sound Spot as well as the Soundfreaq Sound Platform 2, which we reviewed previously.

Connect Your Soundfreaq Sound Spot Directly

The second method is the direct line-in method. Your Soundfreaq Sound Spot comes with a standard 3.5 mm headphone-style jack and cable. This can be used to connect directly into any device with a standard headphone plug so that you can play your music without using Bluetooth. Just connect the line-in cable into the “aux line in” on the back of the Soundfreaq Sound Spot, and connect the other end into the standard headphone jack to begin playing your music.

Charge Your Other Devices With Your Soundfreaq Bluetooth Speakers

Soundfreaq Sound Spot bluetooth speakers can also be used to charge your phone, digital camera or other USB chargeable device. Just simply plug the USB cable into the “power out” slot and plug the other end into your USB chargeable device. You can use the Soundfreaq Sound Spot to charge your device while the Sound Spot itself is charging with a second USB cable, or you can charge your device from the Soundfreaq Sound Spot while it is charged using its battery as the charger. That makes it perfect for charging your device in the event of a power outage.

Thoughts On The Soundfreaq Sound Spot

I love the portability and sound quality of this product. As I mentioned previously, I love how the Soundfreaq Sound Spot blends with our decor. The table that you see the bluetooth speaker on is very small and distressed looking. We love it, but have had a hard time deciding what to use it for as it is not very large. The Soundfreaq Sound Spot is the perfect size for this table, so we just set it all in the corner of our bedroom. 🙂 Our bedroom is currently under construction, so we easily transported the Sound Spot and the table to the living room for pictures. Easy to move from place to place, great sound and very stylish. What else could you ask for?

I love that, it looks so cool! I am the same way, I really want more music. Right now I only have small alarm clock style radios… and I find myself listening to videos on youtube on repeat instead. Very frustrating! I am going to have to check these out!
