How To Get Rid Of Embarrassing Underarm Discoloration #sponsored @Dove

October 17, 2013 by Dawn McAlexander

I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Dove. I received product samples to facilitate my review as well as a promotional item as a thank-you for participating.

Dove Clear Tone For Underarm Discoloration ~

Dove Clear Tone can help moisturize your skin and help clear up underarm discoloration.Cheap Is The New Classy

Ladies, I know this might be an embarrassing subject, but let me ask you a question. We all know that shaving can be rough on skin, especially on the delicate skin under your arms, but did you know that because of shaving, that skin can lose 50% more moisture than other parts of your body? In fact, 32 million women in the U.S. experience underarm red and dark marks that result from shaving irritation.

Dove Clear Tone For Underarm Discoloration

Dove Clear Tone Anti-Perspirant/Deodorant is designed to reduce red and dark marks in just two weeks, while also providing 1 / 4 moisturizers to replenish skin after women’s daily shaving routines.

I learned through this review that your underarms need to be moisturized as well as the rest of your body. I love me some lotion, but never once have I applied it to my underarms. That is a part of my body that I just get done what needs to be done. That’s ok. If you are uncomfortable spending a lot of time working on your underarms, Dove Clear Tone can help you with that.

Dove Clear Tone is specially formulated with Calendula and Sunflower Seed Extracts which can help to accelerate your skin’s natural renewal process. This can help your skin to return to it’s natural tone. Not only does Dove Clear Tone help with your skin’s appearance, but it also provides 48-hour protection from odor and wetness, making you not only look better, but feel better, too.

What Did We Think Of Dove Clear Tone?

We have always been Dove users, but we have never tried the two knew varieties that they sent us to review: Pink Rosa {which has a light fruity scent} and Sheer Touch {which has a light floral scent, in our opinion}. Both ladies in this household have had to deal with red skin after shaving and we were very excited to see if Dove Clear Tone could really help us out.

Dove Clear Tone can help moisturize your skin and help clear up underarm discoloration.

I used Dove Clear Tone for two weeks and have noticed improvement daily. I think that with continued use, I will no longer have to worry about redness. Even Amber says that she has far less red marks and both of us feel like our skin is softer. Underarms are not the most glamorous parts of your body to talk about, but we all want to be comfortable and feel our best. If you wear long sleeve shirts all year round because you are embarrassed about what others will think about your underarm discoloration, I think Dove can help you with that. 🙂

Try Dove Clear Tone our for yourself and see what you think. Dove Clear Tone is available at drugstores nationwide.

It’s strange, but this really works! How often does a product live up to the advertising claims? This one does! Dove has always been a trusted brand in my home.

I know this isn’t about their shampoo and conditioner line, but I love their hair care products, too. 🙂

Thanks for the post. My only concern would be the effectiveness to keep my from getting musty. Did you stay fresh for 24 hours (well until your next bath?) I see you mentioned something about that but does it really hold ya?

Thanks for this review. Just may check them out….

I always use Dove, so I might be a bit biased, but I think it did very well. 🙂 It didn’t smell like a Stinky McStinkster. 😉

I’m curious what about the deoderant makes it reduce redness. Is it a specific ingredient? Thanks for the heads up! I will be honest, I’m skeptical about conventional deoderant and ties to breast cancer, though :/ That’s not to say I don’t use it, I do- in fact I use Dove. Just a curiosity 🙂

Of course I am no expert, but I think it reduces redness because it provides moisture {unlike many other deodorants} so your skin does not get as irritated. At least that is how it felt in my experience. 🙂

As for a possible deodorant-breast cancer link, you would definitely have to talk to someone much smarter than me about that.

I loved Dove products! They always worked great for me, and everyone I knew who used them. Glad to hear that they’re still delivering on their promises. 🙂

Dove deodorant is the kind that I always use. My arm pits dont get red . I didnt know they need moisture either I would think you would want to get rid of it instead. I have health issues that no deodorant will keep me from sweating so I apply it a couple times a day. I can see their point on any health risk to the ingredients in it now.

I had never thought about moisturizing you underarms. I just smooth on deodorant and go. Nice that this is refreshing and good smelling for a soft clean feel. Dove makes some wonderful products.
