Cheap Is The New Classy

My husband and I went to Appalachian State University – the home of the Mountaineers. On many Saturday afternoons, we have driven the two hours from our home to go catch the Mountaineers football games. We have also seen the ladies’ volleyball team and basketball teams play. We have a friend, James, who went to Harvard and I will never forget when we saw the Mountaineers basketball team whoop Harvard. It was awesome – especially telling our friend! Haha!

When we went to App State, their football program was the football program with the most wins in the state! We went back to college as older students but that didn’t stop us from having a good time and participating in school related activities. We would apply face tattoos, fly our Appalachian State car flags and get ready to watch a smack down! Most of the time App State won when we saw them play, so a smack down it usually was!
