Many people wait until the day after Thanksgiving to go shopping – often at Black Friday sales. Ooh, that makes me too nervous. I need to get going early. I do not want to spend my holiday shopping, and I definitely do not want to spend my Thanksgiving sleeping. The thought of shopping on Black Friday makes me nervous. I would just rather shop now while there isn’t too much of a crowd in the stores and then sit back and watch Christmas movies while other people stress with their last minute shopping.
That is why I love Kmart Layaway so much. I shop early and get it done. I don’t have to worry about not being able to find that last minute present. And, I know that all of my presents are snug as a bug at a location away from home and snoops.
Kmart Layaway FAQ
No matter how many presents you have to buy, Kmart has almost anything that those on your holiday list could possibly ask for. You can also layaway almost everything on your list without paying a service fee through 11/23. I like not having to pay fees! You also have the option of making your payments either in store, online or using a mobile phone. Whatever is convenient for you. Then, in eight or 12 weeks later (depending on your contract) you just hop on down to Kmart and pick up your items and you’re good to go! And don’t forget – you can use Kmart Layaway all year long!

I love having the option to use Layaway, it makes life easier. If I don’t have all the money right at once, it makes it nice to make payments over a few weeks!

Layaway is definitely a convenient thing for around the holidays! The only problem is making sure you only buy what you KNOW you can afford, even if you are paying over time. LOL

I actually like to be finished with holiday shopping by the time Black Friday rolls around. Then anything else that happens is just a bonus. 😉 I tried their layaway last year and it worked out beautifully.
We love KMart and want to check out their layaway program this year, mostly so that my son doesn’t find his hidden presents!

If I haven’t finished shopping by Dec 1, I’m usually done anyway! I love shopping ahead of time and having the money (and the bills) done before the holidays! Layaway is a agreat option!
I’m with you. I want to start early and be almost done by Black Friday. I don’t mind going out but don’t want to have to or be pressured to actual buy. I want my gifts in order and taken care of. Glad that Kmart is helping with that.
I have never put anything on layaway before, but I totally love the idea! Although the only thing I wonder about is if you put something on layaway and it goes on sale would they adjust the price for you? Thank you for this idea.
