Walk In Comfort With Oofos Slides

December 25, 2012 by Jay Crawford

My wife got the opportunity to review a pair of Oofos OOriginal Thongs shoes some time back, and I have to admit I was a bit jealous after looking at them and feeling how comfortable they felt. So, I was elated to find out that they offered men’s shoes and that I was going to get my opportunity to try a pair, as well!

Oofos Ooahh Slides

oofos

I received the OOahh Slides in black. They are also available in mocha. I tried them on and was immediately won over! These are some of the most comfortable slides I have ever worn!

I spend a lot of time on my feet, usually in work boots on hard concrete. This makes my feet very tired and sore by the end of the day. It is so nice to come home and slip into my Oofos and just relax a little bit before heading off to bed. Also, during my time off, I wear them around when going out for a casual day of fun. My wife’s Oofos have made great shoes to wear at the beach, or at the pool and I am sure that my slides will, too! Their thick, durable one-of-a-kind foam design is really comfortable and I would venture a guess that they will last a long, long time. My last pair of slides only lasted a couple of months before they simply fell apart. Also, this foam is highly shock absorbent, which reduces the amount of impact that your feet take when wearing the Oofos!

After the painful soreness of a 10-hour work day on a hard concrete floor, the Oofos help relieve the soreness and restore a little spring in my step. These shoes are great for those on-the-go that can’t get off their feet for  a while during the day. You only have one pair of feet, so you should take care of them! Reward your feet for all that they do for you and get yourself a a pair of Oofos today! Your feet will appreciate it! I know that mine do!

I had read a tip on foot exercises to relieve foot pain…”You can try this exercise to soothe tired, aching feet. Lay 20 marbles on the floor, then pick up each one with your toes and drop it into a small plastic bowl. It is recommended to use plastic because it muffles the sound of the marbles dropping into the bowl. That way, you can do the exercise in your office, seated at your desk. Aim for at least one session a day.”

I suffer from neuropathy, and suffer a lot of foot/feet pain. Other than the medication that I’m on. I won a tube of the Noxicare and I have to say that it does help, nothing takes all the pain away but it does seem to relieve it some.

I learned that In fact, test results show OOfoam is 37% more impact absorbing than any existing EVA, the most common material found in footwear. Awesome!

My best tip for alleviating foot pain is foot bath, feet up, yogatoes…check them out. They are great for women that have worn heels forever and have perma crushed toes because of it ๐Ÿ™‚
