Box Appetit Lunch Box and Bento Box Review From Reuseit! #spon

November 13, 2012 by Jay Crawford

Box Appetit Bento Box ~

The Box Appetit lunch box is an innovative and eco-friendly way to carry your lunch with you. It is produced by Black+Blum, a London-based company owned by partners Dan Black and Martin Blum that produces practical products for the home and office. They area all about designing products that make life for people on-the-go simpler and more convenient. We chose the green bento box, one of two bento boxes in this style available from Reuseit.

Bento Box from Reuseit
You could use this part, alone, if you choose for things such as pasta dishes or pizza!

I was excited about the Box Appetit lunch box from the moment it first arrived. I often spend 10 hours a day on the job, and a lot of times 7 days a week. This means that I have to spend a lot of my meal times eating something that I bring from home. Finding something that can handle a variety of foods, store it safely and keep it from becoming a jumbled mess of combined foods (yuck!) is a challenge. But I knew that the Box Appetit would serve the purpose from the initial inspection.

With the extra compartments that can be added in, you have tons of variety in what you can pack!

No one wants to eat soups and salads for their lunches all the time, and it is important to maintain a variety in your diet for health reasons. With its two separate compartments along with the plate itself, the Box Appetit bento box makes carrying different items easier, convenient, and practical. And the lid is specially designed to hold the compartments in place so that they don’t slide around and possibly open and spill their contents all over the place!  This bento box also comes with a sturdy plastic fork that attaches to the lid for easier portability and contains sharp-edged prongs for easier cutting and grabbing of your meal!

The little compartment in the top right corner snaps shut and is great for dips!

The Box Appetit is also eco-friendly by eliminating the need for paper bags or baggies and plastic zipper bags. Just put all your lunch in the Box Appetit bento box and it will keep your food fresh and tasty! The Box Appetit is also microwavable and has a convenient steam vent to keep you from getting burned! This bento box is also safer for the environment because it is BPA-free.

The lid can be used for a plate. It even has it’s own area where you can put condiments. When the lid is on the bento box, it holds everything in place.

The Box Appetit is a must-have for people on-the-go or for school children that prefer to take their lunches from home but don’t like only being able to pack one or two items in a small and undivided lunch box. I have enjoyed my Box Appetit from the beginning and look forward to many years of service from it!

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
