Boost Your Brain Power ~
The latest book I have read would have to be Chicken Soup for the Soul: Boost Your Brain Power! Though I first thought that this book might be humorous, I soon realized that it would be a great read for any age person who feels that they need to “sharpen” their brain.
For the most part, I would say this book is better for forgetful people. Don’t you hate it when you forget where you sat your keys and you are sitting there looking for them for hours? I know that the older I get, the more forgetful I am becoming. I lost my keys for almost 2 weeks {thankfully we have spares} and they turned out to be in the most obvious spot. This happened to me recently and I felt so dumb afterwards.
Chicken Soup For The Soul – Boost Your Brain Power offers medical tips and advice on how to do things such as enhance your memory, knowledge, and tricks on how to think faster. We all know that with age it seems that our brain just isn’t what it used to be. I think that reading this can help you to realize that you aren’t the only who has spent hours looking for something they lost, or walked into a room and totally forgot what you even went in there for in the first place {this, too, happens to me more often than it should}!
In my opinion, what makes Chicken Soup For The Soul – Boost Your Brain Power such a great read, and all the Chicken Soup For The Soul books, for that matter, would be that they contain stories from actual real-world people. This helps the reader connect to the stories and really take what they say to heart; at least I know it is that way for me. The unique thing about this book when compared to some of the other Chicken Soup for the Soul books is that it contains a lot of medical advice that I find really helpful. I think that I have enjoyed Boost Your Brain Power even more so than some of the other Chicken Soup For The Soul books that I have read!

Tricks to help me remember: make a list, keep a calendar, reminders on phone.

I am one of those people that stops in the middle of a sentence & can’t remember the word that I wanted to use, so I think that this Chicken Soup for the Soul is what I need. I especially like what you said about the personal testimonies in the book. It’s true, I do relate to the people when they are real & in this book it would help that others are forgetful as well.
