Look what I just got in the mail today! This is an awesome Taste of Italy Gift Basket! It came with every pantry item you need for a perfect Italian meal! But where can I get one for myself, you might ask? You can get one of these wonderful Taste of Italy Gift Baskets or one of tons of other choices at Baskets-N-Beyond!
Ours came with penne rigate, Luigi Giovanni pasta sauce, chicken flavored snack crackers, boneless herring fillets, Artisan bread sticks, red wine vinegar, artichoke hearts, Godiva chocolate covered strawberries, Bruschetta sourdough crisps and Italian cookies. All of this came in a really nice, heavy duty colander to keep. I love that there was very minimal waste in this basket as compared to many that I have bought or received in the past. This colander is actually nicer than the ones we already own so I am probably most excited to receive it of anything else in the basket!
We decided not to use everything to make one meal as my husband really wants to use the penne regate for Cavatini. Instead, he used the pasta sauce tonight to make some spaghetti! We also ate some of the Bruschetta sourdough crisps with the spaghetti. I have to say that I really love sourdough and really love these crisps. I think that I will probably eat some of the herring fillets later on the sourdough crackers.
If this basket isn’t your type of thing, that is okay. Baskets-N-Beyond has tons of different types of baskets to suit any taste. They have a retail store in Dumont {which is their original location} and they now have a new warehouse in Missouri which opened this year. Because of this, they can ship to the Midwest the next business day. I happen to live on the East Coast and I received my gift basket super fast as well – in just a matter of a few days – even with the holiday weekend!

This basket looks awesome! I also love that that everything was in the colander instead of a wicker basket. The colander is such a unique way to tie it all together. 🙂
