You could either brown the meat like in the original recipe OR you could just throw all the ingredients in there together and cook it for 8ish hours {just guessing} on low. Of course, check it to make sure it’s done first. Sometimes meat can take longer in a slow cooker.

Aaahhh brings back memories – comfort food at its’ best. Staple in our home during the winter months – Irish family – down home cooking. My mother retaught me all the steps to create a hearty beef stew – complimented with my home made bread – well my two guys were speechless. If there is one thing I have tried to maintain is enjoying the process of baking/cooking – old fashioned traditions – not everything has to be purchased in a store. Looks like snow today – hmmm have an idea for lunch. Thanks for sharing recipe – looks delicious – meal of the day ! Thanks.
