Choosing The Right Dining Room Set #ad @WrenLiving #kitchenreno

March 4, 2014 by Dawn McAlexander

Classic Aida Walnut Kitchen at Wren Living #sponsoredCheap Is The New Classy

We have slowly been working on redoing our kitchen. We have tiled the backsplash, painted the counters a faux granite and we recently finished painting the cabinets. We also added a fabulous granite kitchen island and a DIY coffee bar. Now, we are trying to find a dining room set that goes well with all of our changes and then finish the kitchen off with stainless steel appliances.

Dining Room Sets From Wren Living

Looking through the Wren Living website, I have been able to find several dining room sets that are both practical and pretty. They sell their tables and chairs separately, so you really have more choices of dining room sets since you can mix and match. Since I love eclectic style, this works wonderfully for me.

Dining Room Sets - Rustic Jacobean Oak table from Wren Living #sponsored

So, I would want to pick out a table first and then work from there as I am more concerned with how the table looks than I am with the chairs. I am loving this Rustic Jacobean Oak Table. It seats 4-6 so that works great for us. It would seat everyone who lives in this house and any guests that we might have over comfortably. As I said, I love eclectic. I also really love natural, rustic and weathered looks. I think this is a charming table that I could really love for many years to come.

Dining Room Sets - Hartford Black Glass table from Wren Living #sponsored

Or how about the Hartford Black Glass Table? It’s a four seater, which is still plenty for Jay, Amber and myself, yet it also brings the elegance of glass into the kitchen. It’s also a great deal more cost effective than the first table. I absolutely love that it has black glass instead of clear. Gorgeous!

Dining Room Sets - Tuscany Marble Table from Wren Living

Ah, the Tuscany Marble Table. Be honest here, who doesn’t love marble? We used to have a marble top stand in our kitchen and I just thought it was absolutely beautiful! How elegant would a dining room be with some marble. I could feel like I was on a Tuscan adventure everyday if I had one of these dining room sets!

Which Of These Dining Room Sets Do You Like Best?

With so many gorgeous dining room sets at Wren Living, I really am having a hard time deciding which on I like best. Which one do you like best?

I absolutely LOVE that first wooden table…although for my family of seven, I’d need to double it in size. I would LOVE to be able to re-do my kitchen!

They have some really long ones, too. We have one that can currently hold 8, but we are hoping to scale down since our family is not that large and we have a smallish kitchen.

What a great selection they have at Wren. The middle table is very art deco looking!

Oh they are all so cooL! I would go with the top one, but it wouldn’t fit our entire family; but I love that style the most.

These are some really great dining room sets. Not a lot of people still have a formal dining room, but it was actually a priority for me when my fiance and I were looking at houses before we moved into this one. I love dining rooms and serving dinners around the table. My dining room set is actually my great-grandparent’s dining room table and chairs. Once we got into our house, I asked my dad if I could have it because he was just keeping it around in his attic since after my great-grandmother died. Having that is so, so special!

We spend so much time in our kitchen and I believe that we need to make it a better place as much as possible. Choosing the right table is part of that goal. Thanks for this post. I appreciate how you gathered these tables and I am sure that these are great choices. ๐Ÿ™‚

I haven’t managed to figure out a good dining room set due do the huge size we’d need the table to be for everyone to sit at it. Plus we’d need a bigger dining room anyway. When I get the house of my dreams (which I may just decided to have custom built lol) I will get to have the fun of picking out all the wonderful dining room things I’ve been wanting to get over the years!

You have some very different choices. I’m more a traditional oak person so I would go with the first one, but I don’t know how modern you are wanting. They are all nice choices depending on your room and tastes.

I like the traditional oak table. The second, black glass tabletop is nice too. The third, not so much.

I had no idea there was so many different shapes and colors to choose from I think that the Hartford Black Glass table is so unique. I don’t think I have ever seen a black glass table before.

I am more traditional when it comes to my dining room and the table set I choose. I have a pretty long, mission style set that accommodates a lot of people for holidays or other celebrations/get-togethers.

They have a lot of cool tables! The top photo I just love. I can’t believe the selection on their site. My favorite is the Shaker Graphite Timber Kitchen. I’ve had my kitchen table for so long, I can’t even remember when I bought it.

Is that really our kitchen? Looks like something out of a magazine.
We used to have a marble coffee table and side table. They were so heavy that once you got it somewhere you were not moving it again!! I will never get one again for that fact but they are really nice.

Such a wide range of ideas and types of tables to go with it! The Marble is unusual and fun…why not?!
Thanks for the decor inspirations! Good stuff!

My favorite is the first wooden one but in a larger rectangular size. The black glass topped table is very modern and the kitchen would need to be very modern too. I’d like the marble one outdoors for eating.
