My Favorite Books ~

One of my favorite books - The Perks of Being a Wallflower

Unlike the majority of the teens I hang out with, I rather enjoy reading! Although my favorite books involve vampires usually (hehe), I have found quite a few books that are amazingly great and everyone should put them on their reading list!

Favorite Books: I <3 Nicholas Sparks

When it comes to Nicholas Sparks, I have enjoyed quite a bit of his books such as A Walk to Remember and The Last Song. However, a few months ago I was hospitalized for an appendectomy. When I awoke from surgery, my parents had made me a huge care package to help my stay in the hospital be less boring. One of the things they bought me was Nicholas Sparks’ Safe Haven. I really really liked this book because it showed how a girl turned her terrible life into something great all because she found love.

Favorite Books: The Perks Of Being a Wallflower

Another book that I read recently was The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky and as of right now, this is my favorite book! I love how it was about the underdogs instead of being another book about cool kids and cheerleaders. The Perks of Being a Wallflower is about a socially awkward boy who moves to a new school. Soon, he finds himself a new set of friends and slowly starts to find himself. This book is one of those books that I was tempted to take a highlighter and mark all of the great passages and inspiring quotes!

Favorite Books in a series - Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead

Favorite Book Series: The Vampire Academy Series

Lastly, I rather enjoyed the Vampire Academy series by Richelle Mead. I liked them because they took a totally different spin on the story of vampires. This series is about a young guardian named Rose who has to protect her best friend from the evil Strigoi. Throughout the books, Rose finds herself falling head over heels for the most unexpected guy. I was very recently stoked to find out that they are now working on the first movie for this series!

  1. I have so many novels that I love. All different genres. I enjoyed the Anne Rice vampire series. The movies sucked. (no pun) I have to say my favorite would have to be A Prayer for Owen Meany by John Irving. My daughter reluctantly read it for a book report and loved it. Have you read it?

I am not even sure that I have heard of it. I will have to check it out. :)

I read Interview With A Vampire when I was a teen but I am not even sure I have ever seen the movie. That was the only Anne Rice book that I ever finished.
