In our world, we get most of our fashionable inspiration from seeing celebrities ( monkey see, monkey do). Sometimes the inspiration can be great, but other times it can be horrible. For instance, it seems that one celebrity that is commonly getting criticized for her fashion decisions is Lady Gaga. Although some may call her brave for wearing what she wants and not caring what others think about it, most seem to judge harshly on her for it. Although I, myself, am a fan of Gaga, I would have to say that I would never wear some of the things she wears, even though I do find her brave for wearing it.
Another celebrity that gets bashed on often for her wardrobe selection is Nicki Minaj. Although Nicki’s attire isn’t as drastic as Gaga’s, her’s is still pretty wild! She tends to wear things that are eye catching because of their brightness!
Although some celebrities can be “bad” influences in the fashion world, some are not. For instance, one celebrity that seems to get a lot of credit for dressing astonishing most of the time is Beyonce. This year, she even won one of the spots in Mr. Blasburg’s Best-Dressed List: New York Fashion Week Spring 2012 Edition. The fabulous dress that caught her this infamous role was “ a sexy black leather maternity dress with cutout paneling”.

I can’t see why anyone would want to dress like Lady Gaga – those are not outfits, those are stage props LOL!

I can’t say that any of the celebrities have fashion that I’d want to copy. Of course, I tend to be more conservative anyways.

I honestly dont know why anyone would want to dress like Lady GaGa or how Madonna did.
But to each his own. I guess if they really want to stand out in a crowd or to turn everybodies head this is the way to dress. Maybe for a party or for Halloween would be okay, but not any other time. Girls need to know that just because they like her songs doesnt mean they have to act or look like her.

If I were to copy a celebrity, I’d go with the classics – like Audrey Hepburn and Marilyn Monroe… or 80′s Madonna
LOL

Well, for one thing, they’re celebrities so people pay more attention to them. I’ve never followed what everyone calls “fashion”. I’ve always dressed in what I feel comfortable in, never following the latest fads, except when I was young and a certain style of shoes were in style with a really big clunky sole and heel. Can’t tell you how many times I fell out of those. Since then I’ve never really followed fads. I always say to each his or her own.
