On Mystic Lake ~ I found this book to be very easy to get through and a fast page turner. On Mystic Lake is the second Kristin Hannah book that I have read and, although I didn't like it quite as well as I did "Firefly Lane," I did like this book quite a lot. There are many very likable characters in this book, especially Izzy. I also really like Nick and felt a lot of … [Read more...] about “On Mystic Lake” by Kristin Hannah {Book Review} #2012readingchallenge

“The Time Of My Life” by Patrick Swayze {Book Review} #2012readingchallenge
Patrick Swayze ~ I had no idea that Patrick Swayze had done so much in his life. I always loved him because "Dirty Dancing" is one of my favorite movies and I love "Ghost" and "Point Break" as well. Of course, I knew that he was an actor and a dancer, but I had no idea that he was so talented in so many other areas. I will discuss some of these further, under the spoiler … [Read more...] about “The Time Of My Life” by Patrick Swayze {Book Review} #2012readingchallenge
“The Short Second Life Of Bree Tanner” by Stephenie Meyer {Book Review} #2012readingchallenge
The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner ~ I started The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner when it was free online but just didn't get it finished in time. So, I decided to start it all over last week (after I found it in my favorite used bookstore). I think it is very good and I believe that Stephenie Meyer was correct in her assessment that Bree deserved her own story. I … [Read more...] about “The Short Second Life Of Bree Tanner” by Stephenie Meyer {Book Review} #2012readingchallenge
Betty White “If You Ask Me {And Of Course You Won’t}” ~ Book Review #2012readingchallenge
Betty White ~ *I started this book last night about 12:10am and did not stop until it was finished (around 3am). “11/22/63” by Stephen King {Book Review} #2012readingchallenge
11/22/63 by Stephen King ~ I used to read Stephen King books all the time, but I haven't read one since the late 90s, I believe. I guess I just read so many that I got burned out. However, something about the concept of this story just seemed so intriguing to me that I could not pass it up (even at a whopping 850 pages). … [Read more...] about “11/22/63” by Stephen King {Book Review} #2012readingchallenge

“Tommyland” by Tommy Lee & Anthony Bozza {Book Review} #2012readingchallenge
Tommy Lee ~ I thought this book was really good. Granted, it's Tommy Lee, and for those that don't know Tommy Lee... “Water For Elephants” by Sara Gruen {Book Review} #2012readingchallenge
Water For Elephants ~ Let me start off by saying that this book is far different than most books I have ever read (due to where it took place, mostly). That, alone, made it quite interesting. I really enjoyed the historical perspective that this book portrayed for the reader and I read this book mainly because I had just watched the movie and thought it to be very good. … [Read more...] about “Water For Elephants” by Sara Gruen {Book Review} #2012readingchallenge
Composed by Rosanne Cash {Book Review}
Composed by Rosanne Cash ~ This is definitely one of the better autobiographies I have read, and I have read quite a few. In some, it seems like the author penned the book for the soul purpose of getting a final jab in at someone or to make sure their side is heard (as it seems as though their side will differ greatly from everyone else's). I don't get that from reading … [Read more...] about Composed by Rosanne Cash {Book Review}
