1. Paint your cabinets. New cabinets aren’t cheap. But guess what? Paint is, comparatively speaking. Find a color you like that will complement a color in your kitchen you can’t afford to change (like appliances or flooring). 2. Paint an accent wall. Like painting your cabinets, this one’s pretty cheap as far as updates go, and it will breathe new life into that stale space.
