I participated in a Blog Blast Activation on behalf of Influence Central for Doctor On Demand. I received a free trial coupon code to facilitate my review as well as a promotional item to thank me for my participation.

Visit a doctor from the comfort of your home with Doctor on Demand

These past few days my family and I have found ourselves trapped in our house due to the snow. While being stuck here, I have no worries. We bought groceries before the bad weather hit, we have electricity and running water, and most of all – we have Doctor On Demand.

Visit A Doctor From The Comfort Of Your Home With Doctor On Demand

Doctor On Demand is a way for you to connect with a psychologist, pediatrician, physician, or lactation consultant in a matter of minutes. And ou can do it all from the comfort of your home. On the web, or using the Doctor On Demand app, you can easily be connected face to face to a doctor that will help you with whatever medical situation you might need help with.

This would be so convenient for a parent with children. Imagine you have a a mild illness and the weather is bad. Instead of making an appointment and dragging your children outside, you can all stay in your nice, warm home and consult with a doctor online. It’s really as simple as that. Not to mention that no one really feels like leaving their house when they are sick. Now you don’t have to.

Great Prices And You Don’t Need Insurance

Doctor On Demand visits are a great value, too. At $40 for a 15 minute Medical & Pediatrics visit and $50 for a 25 minute Psychologist session, you really can’t beat the price. You also do not need insurance and your insurance will not be contacted through Doctor On Demand. You can also try Doctor On Demand our for free.

That is a great service. It’s so convenient and I would definitely use this at some point if I was unable to get out to get to the doctor’s office.

This is a really convenient service. I would think this would be beneficial for people with small children or elderly especially not wanting to leave the house in winter.

This is a really neat service. I would definitely use this if I needed to. The weather has been pretty cold out lately, so if I needed a doctor I would definitely use this.

What an amazing service now I feel bad that we don’t have that here in Manila. I hope in a few years someone can offer that service in Manila.

I am happy to see this service popping up. It is about time the medical industry uses this technology!

As a Nurse Practitioner, I worry about services like this. There is a lot of value in being able to communicate with your doctor via email or a face time conversation. However, I think that it would work better for established patients, that you have seen prior to an online visit.
There is a lot to be said for being able to lay your hands on a patient. While I agree that technology will continue to advance how we practice medicine, we love to see our patients in person!

I think this is a handy tool. I heard about it last week and started looking into it and if we’re stuck home and someone over here is sick, I’m sure I’ll be trying it out. Glad no insurance has to be involved

This is so helpful! I had heard of this before but didn’t realize you didn’t need insurance and that the price was set for a certain amount of time. I think it’s worth it.

I have never heard of this but looks like an amazing idea to consult your doctor on-line. In my country it is still the habit that doctor’s do house visits, so you do not need to get out when you feel sick.
