When I was a teen I had a long battle with acne. Since there wasn’t a great assortment of good acne treatments that I could actually afford as a teen, while I was dealing with pretty severe acne, I was left with acne scars. Although these scars aren’t very noticeable anymore, I can see them, and they bother me. On top of all that, acne didn’t just stay around during my teen years. Although I am an adult now, I still suffer from small breakouts now and then. So, I decided to try out Proactiv.
Could Proactiv Plus Work For Me?
I had known about Proactiv Plus for some time, but I had lived with acne for so long that it really didn’t cross my mind that I might could get rid of it. From seeing Adam Levine on commercials, to friends telling me how great Proactiv worked for them, it seemed like practically everyone around me was talking about Proactiv.
When first trying out the Proactiv Plus Pore Targeting Treatment, I immediately felt a difference. My face felt tighter and much smoother. Not only that, but I could instantly see my pores minimizing. Seriously. Instantly. As I have grown older, I see that my pores have gotten quite bigger. The teenage years comes with a lot of skin problems but aging can really do a number on your skin as well. Thanks to the Proactiv Plus Pore Targeting treatment, I can really see a difference in my skin that I had never even considered. It really never occurred to me that I could buy something to minimize my pores so noticeably. This step in the Proactiv Plus system is most certainly my favorite.
Being a mother, wife, and blogger, I never really have time to worry about things other than my job and family. Who wants to worry about their face all day? Proactiv Plus is easy to use, and offers fast results, making it easy to have a huge improvement in my complexion while still getting my work done and spending time with my family.
I have to say, when it came to my acne scars, I was skeptical on whether Proactiv Plus would even do anything. I mean, they are scars. Since using Proactiv Plus, I have been able to tell a difference, though. My scars have lightened some. I feel that with continued use they will become far less noticeable. I had tried many different facial cleansers in my day and none have lightened acne scars, even ones that I have bought specifically advertising that they can do that.
So, here is my opinion on Proactiv Plus. I think that it has definitely improved my skin tone and I think that it is worth the investment. I have spent lots of money on different products that didn’t always live up to their promises. I feel that Proactiv Plus has surpassed the results I felt I would get. I am very pleased with the results and look forward to seeing even more improvements to my skin with continued use.

Proactive is so awesome. I used it when I was younger and had great results and so did the husband.
I love Proactive. It’s the only thing I’ve found that effectively gets rid of pimples and bumps without irritating my skin.
Proactive is a really great product. It’s one of those rare skin products that works as well as its advertised.

Our daughter is coming up on the teenage years and we are hoping she will get her mom’s skin that stayed pretty clear as a teen, but if not, it’s good to know that pro-activ is out there for her.

OH MY GOSH, this is great! I have been experiencing acne lately and it is driving me bonkers. I got lucky and didn’t have it a lot as a teenager but now at the ripe age of 33 … well it is all downhill and I need a product that Works, Thanks for sharing this idea. I may have to buy it!
I am lucky enough to have pretty clear skin as do my kids. I have a friend who uses Proactiv, and they really like it.
I have used proactive as a teen and really loved it. I have not thought about using for my skin as an adult.
