Recently, I was invited to choose some furniture from Sauder to review on the blog. I already own a desk and tech pier from Sauder that I absolutely love, so I was excited to choose another desk, this time for my husband – since he was giving me the jealous face over my other one. 😉 I also chose a night stand, which we are using for an end table in the living room.
Ordering online was a breeze. Well, after I narrowed it down to what I wanted anyway. It took me forever to decide. There are so many nice pieces of furniture that I think will go nicely in my home. But I love shopping for furniture so Jay and I finally chose these two pieces.
Computer Desk In Antiqued White Finish From Sauder
Like I said, Jay needed a desk. We already own the L-Shaped Desk from the August Hill Collection and the Tech Pier from the same collection. These pieces are in our office from when we remodeled it earlier in the year. So, we chose the Computer Desk In Antiques White Finish from the Harbor View Collection for Jay. It will actually be our desk where we pay bills from as I am using the other desk for my blog. He can also use it for when he needs to write posts.
Jay put the desk together. It’s nice when you can save a few bucks by assembling something yourself. Not everyone has a ton of cash to spend on furniture, yet they still want pieces that look nice. That is why we enjoy DIY projects so much.
I love the size of this desk. It is perfect for a smaller room, and it fight nicely in our office even with our other desk in there. It also has a file drawer, which I will be using for receipts. Amber can also use it to do her homework while I am working on the blog. It’s really nice not to have my blog stuff all over the living room now. I can’t say how much I love having an office now.
Night Stand In Salt Oak Finish From Sauder
The second piece of furniture that I chose was the Night Stand in the Salt Oak Finish. This piece if from the Harbor View Collection. Like other pieces from Sauder, it comes disassembled and you put it together {aka make your husband do it} when it comes to your home. It took Jay around 2 hours, I think, to put it together. So, you could order a few pieces of furniture from Sauder and do it all in one weekend easy.
Jay didn’t need to call customer service for either piece as the directions are pretty easy to follow. If you have assembled furniture before, don’t worry. You got this.
This night stand makes a great end table, don’t you think? Jay put it together in the living room and it looked so nice with our furniture that it stayed. 😉
