May 1, 2014 by Jay Crawford

Never worry about a dead phone battery again with the new Duracell Powermat Day Trip and Long Haul Chargers #sponsoredCheap Is The New Classy

Today, most everyone has a cell phone. Heck, most everyone nowadays has a smart phone, or perhaps even a tablet. The one thing that all of them have in common is that they all require power, and constant use drains the batteries quickly. We here in our household know this from personal experience. If it’s one thing that none of us can stand it’s to be out somewhere and have our cell phones all going dead. It never seems to fail. We all charge our phones, head out on the road somewhere, and all of our phones, I do mean all of them will start going dead at the same time. Arrghhh! But, now there is a solution to that problem. It’s called the Duracell Powermat.

The Duracell Powermat offers several lightweight, portable chargers that work to add extra battery life for your iPhone or smart phone. Our smart phones have become a vital part of our daily lives. Not only do we use them to keep in touch, but we use them as navigators while on vacation, portable research and information centers, as well as a means to check our email. So, it is of the utmost importance that at least one of our smart phones is charged at all times. That’s why the Duracell Powermat is so important to us. We spend a lot of time on the go, and it fulfills a great need for us all.

Duracell Powermat: Day Trip Or Long Haul

The Duracell Powermat for smart phones is available in two options: the Day Trip charger for an extra full daily charge, and the Long Haul charger for up to 4 extra charges. The Long Haul can also be used to charge two devices at once. The Duracell Powermat chargers can also charge your phone through a standard USB port, which can also be used to recharge the Duracell Powermat device itself. The Duracell Powermat chargers can also recharge wirelessly through a PMA charging spot or from a PowerMat charger (sold separately) on which your charger and phone rest for simple wireless charging.

Traveling Has Become So Much Easier

I cannot even begin to tell you just how great the Duracell Powermat chargers are, or how much simpler they have made our lives. We highly recommend that you get yourself a Duracell Powermat charger today, especially if you use your smart phones for travel. Yeah! I agree – definitely an investment piece. I used to carry 3 batteries on my all the time with my Galaxy II so I could have used this!

That looks like it would be great for when I travel. I should look into getting one!

The Universal Power banks are awesome! My brother travels a lot and complains about his phone and iPad batteries running down. This would be a great Father’s Day gift for him!

I love that this lasts up to 40 hours. My son could use this for his trip to Europe this summer, when he is on the long bus rides!

I love how easy they are to use-I totally need one of these-my batteries in my phone and all my electronics are constantly dying and I am always on the go trying to find a way to recharge. This would be so useful!

I have to admit, I think this might be the best invention ever, too! My phone always always always dies when I am taking pictures and it would make me so mad! Not anymore. 🙂

This is exactly what I need for some upcoming conferences! My battery is going to die at the worst time, I just know it.

I so need this! I am always letting my phone die accidentally. This would be perfect for when I pull out my phone to use GPS only to find that it’s completely dead.

  12. Sandy Cain says

    May 1, 2014 at 11:07 pm

I love the wireless charging feature! So helpful! And this would be SO useful….I am ashamed to say how many times I’ve been caught on the go with dead batteries. Not to mention the iPad! OMG!

I think the power chargers are awesome! Esp. living off the grid! We charge most things by solar but then have difficulty when it’s too cloudy, so this would come in handy on those days.

  16. Susan says

I love the fact that the long haul allows for 4 charges because we all know one isn’t enough especially when you are on the road. I also like the fact that you can charge multiple devices at the same time.

This would be amazing at our house! If an electronic device is not being used, it is being charged…constantly. My husband would really love this to as he’s on the road a lot!

  20. Brandy says

My husband needs this! During planting and harvesting he is on the phone constantly and has to charge his phone at lunch or he will never make it to the end of the day…sometimes he still doesn’t. I see a Father’s Day gift 🙂

  21. Beth Emelander says

    May 2, 2014 at 12:37 pm

I learned that I could really use this package for my husband and myself. We are both constantly running our batteries down and forgetful of grabbing our charger cords to go out.

  22. Dorothy Teel says

    May 2, 2014 at 2:50 pm

This Duracell Power mat is really nice for wirelesss charging and I think we could definitely use the Go Power Long Haul, – Universal Battery for Smartphones & Tablets. up to 4 phone charges would be great as I frequently forget to precharge my phone prior to trips.

  23. Darlene Owen says

    May 3, 2014 at 2:49 pm

A power mat would be great to charge in a conference room for many phones.

  24. Karla Campos says

    May 3, 2014 at 3:40 pm

I love chargers, the day charger sounds like what I need since I’m always attending conferences and events that need social media coverage. The only issue I have with chargers is the power cord always breaks or stops working.

  25. gigi says

    May 3, 2014 at 8:46 pm

I’d also like the Samsung Galaxy S III Wireless Charging Case. I’m forgetful about bringing my charger with me and my battery always seems to be on one bar (or so it feels) – this would make my life a lot easier!

  26. Rhonda Martin says

    May 3, 2014 at 9:49 pm

I am a geocacher and to go geocaching you use a lot of juice. I am forever running out of battery life. My power source in my vehicle doesn’t work so using a charger in my Escape isn’t an option. With the Duracell Powermat Charger I could keep geocaching and not have to go home due to a dead battery. More than one day has been spoiled by a dead battery for my family so this would help us have more fun every day.

    • Dawn McAlexander says

      May 5, 2014 at 8:30 am

Geocaching sounds fun and I have always wanted to try it. I am just not sure that I have ever known anyone else who did it before, until now. 🙂

I didn’t realize that you can get multiple charges out of a charging pad. Me and my hubby are always running batteries dead before we need to go out and about, this would be great to have.

  29. Sherry Compton says

    May 4, 2014 at 7:51 am

I didn’t know that they also have a travel mat. Great to take with you on trips to keep your items charged. I like that they can work with so many different products.

  30. Rebecca Parsons says

    May 4, 2014 at 9:54 am

I learned you do not have to fully drain your battery to charge your phone. This would be great for when I am on the road.

  31. Betsy Barnes says

    May 4, 2014 at 5:33 pm

I learned that the Long Haul hub has dual USB ports that can charge both my phone and tablet simultaneously at a faster rate than the outlet. This would be wonderful for me when traveling with my tablet and phone 🙂

  34. Mildred says

    May 5, 2014 at 6:28 pm

I learned that it is a wireless, portable backup battery. It would be helpful to have for everyday reasons, but especially in case of emergencies or extended power outages, when we would not be able to recharge our devices in an electrical plug

  35. Susan D says

    May 5, 2014 at 6:32 pm

I learned that you can use this device to recharge your devices wirelessly at select Starbucks and Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf locations. Doing so would help in daily life because you could recharge your devices on the go while waiting for and enjoying a tea or coffee break

I looove the iPhone® 4/4S 24 Hour Power System! It would really help me cause I’m always setting my phone down and forgetting to hook it up to the charger while its just sitting there! It always ends up dying in the middle of my calls because of that! lol
