Before I became a professional blogger a couple of years ago, I used to work outside the home. One thing that I noticed was that there were tons of jobs that I was qualified for, but there were far fewer that I actually wanted. I just never could find my work life balance. This is where Mom Corps comes in.

The Importance Of Work Life Balance

When I was in college, I had a Psychology class that stressed the importance in finding good work life balance. Not only is it important to find a job where you “fit,” but you also need to be able to have enough time with your family. When I was younger, I used to work two or three jobs at a time. That can burn a person out very quickly, but I just didn’t really understand that there were jobs out there that could work for me, not just me for them. Now that I am older, I value more the time that I can spend at home with my family. Work life balance is now very important to me. So, if I decide to venture back out into the “out of the home” workforce again, I know that Mom Corps has my back. Mom Corps has lots of jobs that are flexible – just like working moms need.

How To Find Work Life Balance

Mom Corps YOU is just what you need. Offering all kinds of resources for the working mom or the mom looking to re-enter the workforce, Mom Corps YOU offers all kinds of online seminars that can teach you tricks and tips for landing the perfect job and how to have the best work life balance after. For instance, in February alone there are 8 events on all kinds of career topics like beefing up resumes to finding the perfect tips from actual job recruiters. Many of Mom Corps YOU’s seminars include people from the Today Show, Good Morning America, Huffington Post and more. I love that. ๐Ÿ™‚

I’m always struggling and trying to find balance between work and the kids. My kids are older now and it is still difficult. I could never have blogged with little ones and give the moms a lot of credit. Way too time consuming.

I have to say that I have found my perfect work balance for the moment. I know that it could change but I am happy for the moment. I did not give up until I found the job I wanted not just the job that I needed.

When I was a working mother, I was so much out of balance and very much not happy. I learned being at home with my babies is where I need to be. When they are all in school I will probably go back to work, so I’ll have to look this company up!

Balance is hard for me, and I start out strong but usually lose my umph, I think I’m better at getting others motivated. My good friend says I’m more of a visionary, but I don’t know, I feel like I should work on all of it. This looks like a great program.
