My daughter just got her license the other day. Wow. Not only does that signify that she is growing up WAY too fast, but also that she will have far more freedom than I am accustomed to her having. React Mobile also works for those outside of North America. The app allows you to choose which country you live in (or are traveling to) from the settings tab and when an SOS alert is triggered, you will be prompted to dial the appropriate emergency authority depending on you’re geographic location (ex: in the UK the app will prompt a user to dial 112/999 not 911).
Phones have GPS locators anyway, so you are not infringing on your child’s privacy. When your family uses React Mobile, you are looking out for each other and keeping each other safe, just like families should – even when you are apart.

This is a good way for both you and your daughter feel safe and secure. It gives you piece of mine and let’s her know she has a backup safety plan. When our kids began driving is when we got them cell phones. They need to check in, be able to call for help, or just to say hi.
This is a really great app! I just told my husband about it! My son is 15 years old so…I would like him to have this on his phone!

I didn’t know that this was available. I don’t have a cell, smart phone or whatever they are called. If I did I’d use this.
I love this idea for everyone, especially to keep up with kids. I always want to keep them safe even when I’m not there.
We just got my daughter her first phone (for her 11th birthday). I thought she was too young but we felt we needed to. Surprisingly, I’m actually really happy I’m able to contact her when she’s not home!
My daughter got her first phone when she was like 9 or 10. I thought it was too early, too, but now she is 16 and she has never gone over her minutes even once. 🙂

I am so not ready for my kids to be driving. I do like that I can track where they are from the phones. It amazes me all the things we can do from our phones.

This is wonderful, there are so many times I am leary about being alone when it’s dark or out with all 5 kids. There are so many crazy people out there – sounds like a great tool to keep you safe!
Wow, I don’t have a smart phone yet, but others in my family do and it’s great that there are so many apps, but it’s even better that there are apps like this that can make a huge difference in emergencies!
