Homecoming Dresses For 2013 ~
Having a high school age daughter, I know how important it is to find just the right dress for school functions. A few months ago, we bought her a dress to go to New York City so that she could attend a Broadway play. Now, we need to start looking for a dress for homecoming as well as for prom in the spring.
Homecoming Dresses For 2013 From Dress First
So, I have been checking out the homecoming dresses at Dress First all morning, so that I can share my ideas with Amber when she gets home from school. I have found several that I like. Let me share a few here.
I really love the A-Line Princess Sweetheart Homecoming Dress With Tulle in Pink {seen above}. It’s cute and short {but not too short} so I think that it is a length that my daughter and I can both agree on. Dress First offers the dress in many more colors, but the ones I love most {besides pink} are blue, light sky blue and pearl pink. I think these colors are very pretty, elegant and ladylike and I believe these colors will look great on Amber. At $119.99 and free shipping, I think this dress is also very affordable.
Another dress that I absolutely love is the A-Line Princess One Shoulder Knee Length Taffeta Tulle Homecoming Dress With Sequins. I think what drew me to it first was the yellow. I really love the color. I am not sure Amber will like the yellow, though, but the dress is available in so many colors that she could definitely pick a different one. I think it will be gorgeous in Watermelon, Champagne or Burgundy. This dress is $135.99, $208.43 less than retail.
And finally, the Princess One Shoulder Knee Length Organza Sequined Homecoming Dress With Ruffle Beading. The color is fantastic! I think Amber would look like a princess in this dress. I think she would really stand out on the dance floor with the lights playing off of the sequins on this gorgeous dress. Once again, there are tons of colors to choose from, but I really hope she likes this color best, like I do. ๐ At a Dress First cost of $146.99, you can save $84.66 off retail on this dress.

I love that trends are going back to classic ‘cinderella’ style pouffs and chiffon….and away from the age inappropriate slinky dresses. DressFirst has some truly gorgeous pieces!
I agree. These dresses are gorgeous, feminine, and don’t look too “adult.” ๐
AWE… totally love those dresses, especially that yellow one. My little ones aren’t nearly close to the age for homecoming, but if they were, I know my middle daughter would love that yellow one!
After you find that perfect dress (and you will) don’t forget the flowers!!
Oh my, these are so pretty… and whimsical! At those prices, anybody would be crazy not to try them out!
DressFirst has the best dresses at such cheap prices!
These are some beautiful dresses! I love the styles!
I really like the yellow dress! Love those prices too!
I like the blue one should with sequins dress the most, but all of these dresses are made for a princess and any girl would love them for her prom
I love all three dresses. So pretty. I hope your daughter likes them, too.
Beautiful dresses. I bet your daughter will be pleased with the choices, although I am sure she will want to look longer! My daughter looked for weeks before she chose the perfect dress.
all 3 are gorg but the last one really just stands out. i love it. let us know what she loves best!!
I love these new styles, especially the blue one.
I love all their dresses. They would make any girl feel like a princess.
I love that you chose dresses that were cute, fun and still conservative!! all of them are beautiful!!!
Those are really pretty, fun, and on the conservative side. Our local high schools published homecoming dos and don’t this year, and strapless was on the don’ts list.
Those are all really pretty dresses. I especially like the pink one!
Love these dresses! My school didn’t have homecoming when I was growing up. ๐
Great picks! It’s great that you are thinking about what your daughter will like and you will allow. Since buying online, I love that you are staying involved in the process. I love the color of the last dress, and it is a princess dress if that is what she wants. I really like how cute and stylish the middle one is. Good luck and have fun!
I have seen their site before and they do have some very nice dresses. I love their little black dresses.
Absolutely love the yellow dress – why can’t wear stuff like that?
I think this new trend is sweeter and more modest than they’ve been in a while. I really like the colors too!
I love the dresses, especially the pink one! that one is my favorite by far. then again pink is my favorite color
i cant wait till my daughter is in high school and i can help her pick out a homecoming dress.. i never got a homecoming, i went to a charter school and we didnt have football or homecoming:(
Oh no, that is too bad. At least you can live vicariously through her. ๐
Gorgeous dresses. I have a really long time before my daughter will be ready for these {thank goodness}
Im loving the yellow dress… I have a ball to attend next month. That may be the color I try.
I like the design of the yellow one best!
I love each of the dresses you featured. I hope Amber loves them too and that you can narrow it down to one.
