Unsplurge: Saving Money Made Fun ~
After realizing that we want to free up more of our money for vacations, fun, savings and paying down school loans, my husband and I decided a month or so ago to make some serious changes in our spending habits. We paid off our HHR last month, so that was a great start, but what else could we do? We decided also to lower our auto insurance coverage as we had way more than we felt necessary and we turned off our satellite. All of this ends up saving us around $500 a month! Another thing that can really help us is a cool app called Unsplurge.
What Exactly Is Unsplurge?
Unsplurge is a free iPhone app that makes saving money fun and social. Our mission is to empower everyone to reach their own savings goals.
The app uses fun features from social networks like Facebook and Pinterest to keep you motivated to save.

Cute name. Unsplurge. It says a lot and saves a lot, too. Those amounts are amazing! I like that it gives you an online community feel and connection. You can interact with others to help everyone out. Great idea!
