Handmade @Woolzies Dryer Balls For Eco-Friendly, Fresh Clothes! #sponsored

June 11, 2013 by Jay Crawford

WoolziesCheap Is The New Classy

Allergies are a really bad thing around our home, and finding something that can help with those allergies in the everyday chores can be sometimes daunting. Recently, however, we were offered the chance to review Woolzies, an environmentally safe and hypoallergenic way to soften laundry.

Woolzies 100% Pure New Zealand Wool Dryer Balls

Woolzies are pure handmade New Zealand wool dryer balls that soften your laundry naturally without any of the chemicals of conventional fabric softeners.

Woolzies dryer balls

Woolzies are dryer balls made of 100%  pure New Zealand wool. They have several different benefits, and I am going to tell you all about them. First, one set of these 100% wool dryer balls will last at least 1,000 loads! Yes, I said 1,000 loads! Do the math. If you wash one load of laundry per day, that’s over two and a half years worth of fabric softener. Just imagine the money you would save on dryer sheets alone. This fact alone is enough to intrigue even the biggest skeptic in the world. Everyone likes to save money. Especially me. ๐Ÿ™‚

Woolzies hypoallergenic wool dryer balls

But, there are way more benefits to the Woolzies than just financial. They leave your clothes feeling fresh and clean with no static cling whatsoever. I used them on a load of clothes that I specifically chose to try the Woolzies on because these are clothes that are bad to get static cling. When I pulled them out of the dryer, I found no evidence of static cling. None. How awesome is that? Good bye, expensive dryer sheets that get stuck in your shirts!

Woolzies Are Environmentally Safe and Hypoallergenic

Woolzies eco-friendly dryer balls

As I mentioned before, Woolzies are hypoallergenic and environmentally safe. They do not contain harsh dyes or chemicals, and they don’t have that heavy perfume-like smell that just chokes you to death like some dryer sheets. No, Woolzies left our laundry fresh and soft without all the heavy scents. Dawn has asthma, so this is especially important to us. It is so hard to get fabric softener in either liquid or sheet form that doesn’t smell like someone cleaned our the perfume aisle. Also, if you have an allergy to wool and are concerned, don’t be! Woolzies do not shed on to your laundry, making it safe for those with wool allergies as well!

Woolzies Are Easy To Use

How difficult are Woolzies to use? That’s another great thing! They are not! You just put six or more Woolzies dryer balls in the dryer with your laundry, and start your normal drying cycle. Woolzies can also reduce drying time up to 25%! This means you will get your laundry done faster, and it’s on to bigger things! I totally think that you owe it to your family, the environment, and to yourself to give Woolzies dryer balls a try!
