Holland ~
What will you being doing for vacation this year? My husband and I have been looking around at possible ideas. We have never ventured out of the country together {only I have left the country at all} and we ran across this cool video sharing the coolness of Holland!
Cool Vacation Idea – Visit Holland
It’s the 400th anniversary of the UNESCO-awarded canal ring, reopening of the Rijksmuseum and completion of the Museumplein (Museum Square), and even the first King in more than a century, so it’s a big year for Amsterdam. I really knew nothing about Holland previously, so this video was a real eye opener. I didn’t even know that the residents spoke English in Holland. I thought “Dutch” was a language. *gasp*
Anyway, if money were no object, where would you like to go on vacation? If you were given a month off from work {paid} and you could get out of your responsibilities long enough, where would you like to go for an escape? Visiting European countries or taking a cruise has always been on my list of most wanted vacations, so I think visiting Holland might be just the ticket for me – did you see all the waterways?
What really got me excited about Holland was the architecture and the artwork. I would love to ponder through some of their museums aimlessly for a few days. What a picturesque country! I also love that they boast so many boutiques that cater to more eclectic styles. I have a huge record collection {no, not CDs, records} and I would love to visit that shop featured in the video! I also think that most foodies would really dig Holland.
At any rate, I REALLY need a vacation! And visiting Holland sure wouldn’t hurt my feelings. 🙂

My dream vacation would be Hawaii
I’ve lived in Europe, so don’t need to dream of it. But I recommend it to everyone.

My dream vacation would be one the “ABC” islands – Aruba, Bonaire, or Curacao. But actually, I wouldn’t turn down Hawaii!

That video was great! Now, I want to go to Holland! I have always wanted to travel to Italy. Also, if security was not an issue, I would love to go to Egypt. I want to see the Pyramids! 🙂
My daughter really wants to go to Egypt, too. Seeing the pyramids would be very cool!
So many places I would love to go – Australia if I’m dreaming big. The beaches and environment would be a dream to see. I can’t imagine seeing some of their reefs and wildlife.
My grandmother was actually from Australia. She left there in her 20s and if she ever went back, it was only once or twice. I would have loved to visit. 😉
So many it would be hard to choose just one. I would love to visit Italy, Greece, and Switzerland.
wel if i get my way we are going to texas and then we are going to go hawaii and the home to ohio

I would have never thought of Holland, but it looks way cool. My dream is to go to England someday.
