I loved that book, and the movie looks like it’s going to be a blast! I loved the hairbands they always seemed to wear. Their fashion wasn’t as big as previous years in size but had great flair!
My favorite is all the clothing! I can just imagine my Grandmother in that time era wearing those beautiful clothes and styling her hair in a special way.

I really love the feather accessories and the sparkles. The show Boardwalk Empire on HBO also provides lots of opportunities to see all manner of great twenties clothing.

I remember seeing the original movie and I thought the clothes were so elegant. I wish I could wear them but I am overweight (working on it) and they would not look good on me.

Great post! Good ideas on subtle…and cheaper….ways to try a look. I hate it when I see a trend, spend a lot on it, then find out it isn’t for me. This way your man still keeps his basic style but adds touches of Gatsby.
