Never Suffer Through Sickness Again With Vicks NyQuil and DayQuil #spon

March 29, 2013 by Dawn McAlexander

Vicks NyQuil and DayQuil ~

Vicks NyQuil and DayQuil relieve symptoms of cough cold and flu

Does it sound like Ferris Bueller’s keyboard at your house? Cough. Cough. Cough. Sneeze. Sneeze. Cough. Cough. Sneeze. Few things stink more than getting a cold. My family and I seem to get colds as soon as the weather changes, and it is awful! Last week half of one of my daughter’s class was absent one day. HALF! When they all returned, some said it was the flu, but most said they had horrible colds and couldn’t sleep throughout the night. I recently had the exact problem, that is why I am very grateful to have had a stash of Vicks NyQuil and DayQuil on hand.

Keep Vicks NyQuil and DayQuil On Hand For Surprise Sick Days

You never know when you will get sick and who wants to run to the store to get medicine after they are sick. I would much rather lay in bed and feel sorry for myself heal. As the #1 pharmacist recommended brand for adult cough/cold/flu relief, Vicks DayQuil and Vicks NyQuil are this family’s go-to brand when it comes to medication. We trust NyQuil to help us sleep – after all, you need all the sleep you can get when you are sick and we trust DayQuil to help us get through the day when we just have to do the things we have to do. As a mom, I can’t just say forget it when I get sick. I have to be able to do what I need to do for my family. Being sick is never fun, but DayQuil sure makes it more bearable.

Get A Good Night’s Sleep With Vicks NyQuil

Turn to Vicks NyQuil Cold & Flu Relief to relieve nighttime sniffling, sneezing, coughing, aching and fever for a restful night’s sleep when suffering from a cough, cold or flu.

Vicks NyQuil helps with symptoms that most people suffer from when having a cold or flu including aches, fever, sore throat, sneezing, runny nose, and cough. I am so glad that it includes runny nose! In my house, that is the first sign of any kind of sickness. When we get runny noses, we get them bad and usually end up going through multiple boxes of tissues. I know that’s *gross* but that’s life. At  a suggested retail price of $5.99-$8.99 {dependent on size}, Vicks NyQuil is very affordable and you can’t put a price on a good night’s sleep.

Vicks Cold and Flu Season Tracker
Be sure to check out the Vicks Cold and Flu Tracker to see how prevalent the cold and flu are in your area right now. I learned that 8-14% of people in my area are reporting symptoms currently.

Make It Through The Work Day With Vicks DayQuil

The time-tested formula of Vicks DayQuil Cold & Flu Relief can provide non-drowsy symptom relief for those suffering from a cough, cold or flu. The active ingredients in the formula work to suppress the impulse to cough, help clear nasal congestion for easier breathing, help relieve minor aches and pains, and reduce a fever.

Vicks DayQuil also relieves multiple symptoms of cold and flu such as aches, fever, sore throat, nasal congestion, and cough. Honestly, without the Dayquil, I could even get out of bed on some sick days. The last time I was sick {just a few short weeks ago} I tried the *tough it out* approach. Yeah, that was an awesome idea (sense the sarcasm?). When I finally gave in to taking medicine from my head cold stupor, I found relief within a few hours. And then I was very ill at myself for having ever deciding to suffer through it in the first place. Ha! No one needs to suffer needlessly and Vicks NyQuil and DayQuil are both here to help. At a suggested retail price of $4.99-$14.99, Vicks DayQuil is far less expensive than the cost of a day missed at work. And if you are like me, you need that paycheck. 🙂

Remember, if you are sick, do what your mama taught you. Make sure to get plenty or rest, eat lots of soups, broths and clear fluids and don’t try to “suffer through it.” If it wasn’t for Vicks NyQuil and DayQuil, I would probably still be in my bed moaning and groaning. I also probably wouldn’t have been able to enjoy the lovely weather we have been experiencing the past few weeks!  Thanks Vicks!

Important Facts To Remember

  • Before trying any new medication make sure to check with your doctor & follow the proper recommended course of treatment.

Vicks products are good. I think if a person is sick they should stay home instead of infecting other people. Stay home and take these products of course.

It’s a staple at our house! I’ve been really trying to avoid sick people since I got pregnant last year! I got my flu shot.

But, yes, I’m a big supporter of Vick’s DayQuil and NyQuil!

I am a nyquil user so no need to convince me. I think the best medicine for a cold is sleep and I always found that Nyquil gave me that.

You are right! Nothing makes me feel better than a good night’s sleep and rest when I am sick. And nothing makes me feel worse than when I can’t sleep when I am sick. 🙂

Being sick stinks, but I love finding medicines that really work. Vicks is one of the staples in our house too. I usually use Dayquil during the day if I have a really bad cold that has my head pounding and congested. Love the tips!
