I don’t smoke but I know lots of people who do and no longer want to. One of those people is my aunt, Mary. She has tried for years to stop smoking but it never seems to work out for her. She has tried everything she can think of to stop smoking, including quitting cold turkey, only to start back when the temptation gets to be too much to take. So, she decided to try something new – the NICOmate Premium Electronic Cigarette.

Mary shared with me that her favorite flavor NICOmate Premium Electronic Cigarette is the menthol. She said that the other flavors were a bit strong for her as she is used to smoking light cigarettes instead of full flavor. You can purchase either tobacco or menthol flavor. So, if you are used to smoking light cigarettes, you may want to keep that in mind when you order.
She stated that all you have to do is charge your cigarette for 2 hours and then choose your flavor. Add the flavor tip and then smoke the electronic cigarette like you would a normal cigarette. The NICOmate Premium Electronic Cigarette is a little heavier than a normal cigarette so it will take a little adjusting. However, you don’t have to deal with all the smoke and many of the other harmful side effects of smoking tobacco cigarettes. She says that although she found the experience of smoking the electronic cigarette a little different than smoking a regular cigarette, she is so far pleased with the results. Mary states that this is probably the closest she will get to the satisfaction she gets from smoking without actually smoking a tobacco cigarette.
Mary is a smoker that has smoked a pack or more of cigarettes a day for many years. She has tried to stop smoking a few times but has always become frustrated when she gave into the temptation. She has been using NICOmate for approximately a month now and she states that she now smokes 1/2 to 3/4 pack of cigarettes per day versus the 1 pack or more she was smoking per day prior to using NICOmate. She feels that if she continues to use the NICOmate Premium Electronic Cigarette that she might eventually be able to wean herself off of cigarettes completely. I tried one of these and it didn’t work. Maybe I should try this one.
I USED TO SMOKE AND NEVER LIKED IT SO IT WAS EASY TO GIVE UP. I AM FOR ANYTHING THAT CAN HELP A PERSON TO STOP. MY SON SMOKES AND I HAVE TOLD HIM I WOULD BUY HIM ONE. HE SAYS IT IS TOO MUCH PRESSURE THAT HE WOULD FEEL GUILTY IF HE DID NOT QUIT. I THINK A PERSON HAS TO WANT TO QUIT 100% TO EVEN TRY THIS. THANKS FOR THE INFO:)
Since I’ve recently been diagnosed with c.o.p.d., I realize more than ever than I need to quit this nasty habit. Hubby and I have been discussing trying an electronic cigarette. The Nicomate Premium sounds exactly like what we need!

Yes, I too smoke and would love to quit.. I’m actually going to try to give it up at the first of the year.. (yes, I have said this many many times before). I really need to do it this time, and my plan IS to purchase some of these electronic cigarettes. my mother smoked for many years and quit. She went awhile with nothing, but now uses the electronic kind and LOVES them. I’m going to keep my fingers crossed and hope that I can do it. My motivation this year is my son. He is 5 and is constantly asking me to quit.. I need to listen to him!

It’s great that there is an alternative – I know it was hard when my dad quit smoking, but it was totally worth it!
I don’t smoke, but I could see how amazing these would be to help people who want to quit. I bet this would also be good for a smoker who wants a better alternative to smoking around friends and family who don’t smoke than hitting up the back porch each time.
I have one to try and this is giving me the confidence to try it!

I think it’s great that there have gotten to be so many quit smoking products.
I quit smoking almost four years ago and went completely cold turkey. With a lot of prayer and determination, I went to bed on Friday and woke up on Sunday a non-smoker! Some of the worst withdraws I had ever experienced, but I did it! I think cold turkey is the best way to go. I had gotten down to 2-5 cigs a day several times and picked them back up. Additionally, my mother tried those electronic things and ended up with mouth sores. 🙁

I have never smoked but my husband has been a smoker since he was a teenager. I think its a terrible habit but I do understand the addiction & how hard it is to quit. He has tried so many times to quit. He would quit for a while but within a couple of weeks go right back smoking. I will show him this post & see if he is interested in giving it a try. Thanks!
