I think I might have fallen in love with a new website…Starlooks. Starlooks is a wonderful site for anyone who loves exploring different styles and techniques when it comes to makeup. A couple weeks ago, I received something that is called a Starbox. These nifty little boxes can be subscribed to get monthly. These boxes are fantastic ways to try out different makeup styles without spending mega dollars. If you fall in love with any of the products, you can buy them individually on the website.

Every month Starlooks sends a different style; I love this because I like to switch things up often. Also, another great thing about this box is that it comes with tips for applying the products and where to wear them!
This was my first Starbox and I wasn’t exactly sure what to expect. I thought that I would be receiving tiny samples of different makeups. Instead, I got full sized products! The October Starbox included four lovely products. These products included a “Gold Dust” eye pencil, one “Posh/Peddle” Eye Shadow Pigment, one “Masquerade” lipstick, and last but not least, some daring eye tattoos.
The “Masquerade” lipstick is very eye-catching. The creators of this used the traditional red lipstick, but added a twist…a hint of gold. This makes the lipstick so much more beautiful and is sure to catch the attention of any guy standing nearby.
The “Gold Dust” eyeliner would probably be my favorite item. It glides on smoothly. It is a great product to use to add a little pop to any outfit. My eyes are green and yellow, so it really makes the yellow in my eyes stand out. It is daring and flirty; making me love it even more!
The “Posh/Peddle” eye shadow pigment is also great. It is purple and totally fabulous! The card of helpful tips included in the box suggests that you could use the “Gold Dust” eyeliner as a base coat and then apply the eye shadow pigment over it for a flirty and dazzling look. When I wore this, I got many compliments… I was thrilled.
The last things are the eye tattoos. These are very unique and stunning. I haven’t gotten the privilege to try these out yet (they aren’t something you would just wear to school or work), but I plan on wearing them to the next Halloween Event or even a wild night out!

This sounds really interesting! My daughter and I are always listening to reviews on new products and looks. We always want to try them but don’t want to put out a lot of money and aren’t sure what to buy. How fun to receive a box and “look” in the mail. It’d be fun to see pics of you with those eye tattoos. 🙂

I’ve never heard of this before.. I guess I’m going to have to look more into it because now i have so many questions after reading.. If they send you full size products, do you just get to keep them? I’m assuming not because you said if you like them you can go online and purchase.. What are they going to do with used products if you send them back? It’s definitely a neat idea, but I need to do research to better understand. The application tips would be extremely helpful for someone like me, because I’d receive the stuff and not know what to do with it!!
Yes, you definitely get to keep them. It’s a monthly subscription box so you can order more online if you like. 🙂 I hope that helps.
