Rubbermaid LunchBlox {Sponsored Review}

August 3, 2012 by Amber {contributor}

Rubbermaid LunchBlox Review ~

Rubbermaid LunchBlox - Lunch Containers
Do you dread the awful cafeteria or vending machine food? Do you love packing lunch, but hate the inconvenience? Don’t worry, I did too, but now I have a solution – the Rubbermaid LunchBlox! The Rubbermaid LunchBlox is an ideal space saver for those on the go! The great thing about this nifty food-carrier is that it stores a lot of food, but takes up minimal space.

Rubbermaid LunchBlox - Lunch Containers
The reason these containers save so much space is because they hook together to fit nicely into your lunchbox!

Also, it doesn’t matter how much food you want to pack; it will still work. Since all the storage containers hook and unhook together, you can use (or not use) whatever containers you need for your desired meal. Another great feature about the LunchBlox is that is comes with a specially designed Blue Ice pack that also hooks onto the containers. This Blue Ice pack is great for keeping your food cold all day long. You can hook all of the containers around the Blue Ice Pack so that ALL of your food stays cool, not just one or two items.

Rubbermaid LunchBlox - Lunch Containers
The most convenient feature about the LunchBlox is that the containers have been specially designed to be the perfect size for commonly packed foods such as sandwiches, cookies, grapes, carrots, and more (I am excited to put chicken tenders in the big container and ranch in a smaller one!).

Some great features of the Rubbermaid LunchBlox include…

 Modular containers snap together in to save space in your lunch bag
 Kit includes specially designed Blue Ice™ pack that works with LunchBlox containers to keep
lunches chilled on the go
 Containers are perfectly portioned for lunch foods commonly carried away from home
 Microwave-, dishwasher- and freezer-safe and BPA-free
 The Sandwich Kit includes a sandwich container sized for regular and specialty breads, two snack
containers (perfect for yogurt or nuts) and a snack container (perfect for fruits, vegetables and
chips)

Rubbermaid LunchBlox - Lunch Containers
The Rubbermaid Rubbermaid LunchBlox is dishwasher- safe, microwave-safe, and BPA-free (I don’t know about you, but I hate having to hand wash ANYTHING!) So, after you use it, all you have to do is pop it into the dishwasher and get it out the next morning to use it again! Also, since it is microwave-safe, you can heat up leftovers for lunch (I personally don’t like eating cold left overs … bleh!)

So far, yes I am very happy with my LunchBlox. It is very convenient and easy to use! It keeps my lunch box organized so I know exactly what food it where. It keeps food that should be separated away from each other so that my food doesn’t get soggy and it saves from throwing more waste into landfills! I love my Rubbermaid LunchBlox!

Buy It!

The Rubbermaid LunchBlox is available for purchase at Rubbermaid.com, Target, Kmart, Kroger, Safeway, Bi-Lo, Winn-Dixie, HEB, other grocery stores and select Wal-Mart stores for the suggested retail price of $12.99.

Win It!

    Ok, I’m very happy to read that these are made to be the proper size for things such as sandwiches. I’ve bought other containers to put my daughter’s lunches in and strangely, the large containers don’t fit a sandwich right and I need to cut it in awkward shapes. This is MUCH easier 🙂

    Good point about keeping things separate – I hate it when I have a lunch that needs to be partially heated (like with your chicken tenders and ranch) – you don’t want to eat the warm part cold, but then you don’t want to heat up the cold part! This would definitely solve that! 🙂

    These look awesome! I agree with Jenny, it’s great that they’re actually designed to fit sandwiches!

    I love that these are dishwasher safe and the little food compartments are awesome – I too hate packing lunches but it saves so much money!

    There are so many things I love about these products. I love that they are stackable, that they are freezer and microwave safe (which is what I need!) and I love that they are BPA free. No one wants to get harsh chemicals from their plastic products.

    I love using reusable storage containers (if you were to see my kitchen pantry cabinets you would know!) and I also love to pack foods to go. I enjoy cooking and food brought from home to lunch and school is usually so much better than one can get in a vending machine and always less expensive than eating out. Having two school aged children, the LunchBlox products would be perfect to pack lunches for them for days that they don’t enjoy the food on the menu in their school’s cafeteria. Thank you for the review and pointing out the many uses and convenience of this product!

    What a great idea! I like Rubbermaid and love that these hook together. This would be great for daily lunches but also useful on trips or outings.

    I love the way all these containers are shaped now because of the way manufactures shape the lunch boxes now to lay upright and not flat. It helps me stacks my lunch better.

    I love that the ice pack hooks onto the containers! My husband works outside and it’s really hard to keep his lunch fresh – this would solve that problem perfectly.

    where i work we have a free buffet for meals but these would be grat for my roomies lunch. when she cooks our supper she makes enough for her lunch the next day. much better than a plate covered with foil in the fridge. especially since 1 of my 8 pomeranians has a habit of climbing in fridge to steal food she couldn’t get to this lol
