Bright and Cute Masters Pastel Hair Chalks! {Sponsored Review}

July 12, 2012 by Amber {contributor}

Hair chalk ~

Today my friend Taylor and I tried out my new Masters Pastel Hair Chalk. We were so excited to try out this product because it comes with many funky colors (making the possible looks never ending!).

I do need to say that the product came with absolutely no directions at all (and I had never heard of this product before), so we had no idea how to use it. However, today I looked on their website and found a very informational and helpful video telling you step-by-step directions on how to do the hair coloring with these chalks.

To use, all you have to do is dip the chalk into water, and rub onto hair! It’s as easy as that! When you open the box to these fabulous chalks, you will see that there are many colors to choose from. Some of the colors include shades of green, white, black, purple, brown, yellow and many, many more!

We first tried the chalk on my friend’s hair after she had scrunched it. I went on smoothly and stayed in until she washed it out! Also, it was very easy to wash out (all she used wass shampoo and water). Some people might be afraid that the chalk would stain their hair (preferably blondes), but we didn’t have that problem with her (also take into consideration that her hair is brown, NOT blonde).

I love this hair chalk because I think that it adds some unique style to my appearance (without the damaging damaging my hair or fading or permanently dying it). I believe these pastels are also good for anyone; whether you are looking for a little color or a lot! They are an easy thing that you do yourself without a professional!

Overall, I would say that I am very impressed with this product. I am mostly impressed with the fact that it went on easily and came with so many bright colors. I would recommend this product to anyone who wants to brighten up their look without paying all of the money that it takes to go to the salon and get a makeover! I hope you love this product just as much as I did!

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

    Hello! I used this yesterday and I did it with water too while I’m blonde. At the end of the day I tried to wash it out, but it didn’t work. I still have pink in my hair, but its more light pink now. So I think blondes should really do some research before they use it, unlike I did.

      Oh no! That really stinks! My daughter’s friend that used it had no problem getting it out – but we all have different hair. I wonder if it will come out in a couple more shampoos??

      Good luck!

    My younger daughter would flip over these … so fun! Will have to see if I can get some to put under the tree .. though if it’s too late for that, her birthday is just a couple months away. Thanks for the idea!

    Maybe for young women at Halloween. Not an everyday look.

    These are so cool. The kids will love this. They can use these and not have to worry about them being in their hair permanent. Parents will be happy about that too.

    These are adorable – At my age I would not use them but my granddaughter loves to put color in her hair and this is an easy way for her to achieve a new look.

      I love how you can try it out, since it isn’t permanent! You can look different every day if you want. 🙂

    The girls are gonna like this. It also would be good for doing your hair for Halloween too. Its nice that it can be washed out and is not permanent. Lots of nice colors .

      My daughter reviewed these and I am on the backend of my blog, so I am not looking at the post, but I am thinking that her’s came with no instructions either. I think she just looked it up on their site or on youtube on how to use them. I am glad that you were able to get help here. 🙂
