I’ll Take a C-Section, Please..With a Side of Tummy Tuck #sponsored

So, it seems that the rumor going around Hollywood now is that female stars are doing a 2-for-1 special when they are delivering their babies. E Online recently answered a fan’s questions about whether stars are really opting to get tummy tucks along with their c-sections in part so that they can be red carpet ready at presumably impossible speeds. The article goes on to tell about many celebrity moms who have scheduled their c-sections in advance as opposed to giving birth the old fashioned way. An interviewed doctor states that selective c-sections and tummy tucks performed in unison are rather dangerous, though, and that the risk of infection sky rockets.

The important thing to remember in any medical procedure is that you have choices. Perhaps the reason that stars seem to get back into shape so quickly after delivery is because they do riskier things than many women would, given the fishbowl lives they lead. Also, celebrities have greater ability to afford these types of procedures than the average mom. They might also have greater accessibility to Board Certified Tummy Tuck Surgeons than the average person.

One reason that many women may choose to have both procedures done at the same time could be for cost effectiveness. The cost of a tummy tuck could be quite expensive and they differ from state to state. Many people want to get the most bang for their buck. Many people may also feel that having 1 all-inclusive procedure might be safer than being anesthetized twice. There are lots of safety issues to consider before choosing to have any type of surgery. If getting a tummy tuck seems like the right option for you, I have learned that there are safe and more cost effective ways to get that body you are dreaming of, while researching for this article.

Here are some things that you might want to consider that I got from this
site http://www.tummytuckcost.com/

  • Types of tummy tucks and how potentially invasive each procedure is.
  • Potential risk of infection. You want to fully research the subject and available doctors and find the solution that works best for you. Make sure you find a doctor that is US Board Certified.
  • Do you have someone to take care of you during the healing process?
  • Are you emotionally ready for surgery?
  • Will your job let you take time off for this procedure?

In the end, every woman needs to do what is best for them.

I never had a c-section, but if I had the money, I’d totally do the tummy tuck now 😉

I’ve had two c-sections and I can totally understand the desire to do this. My stomach will never, ever be the same again.

I totally identify with the Baskin Robbins picture. I simply can’t identify with super-mega-Hollywood-stars who continue to project an unrealistic image to the world… really, you look better 1 month after the baby than you did before, I totally buy that. 😉

I’ve had two kids and I could use a tummy tuck. I’ve never had a c-section though, and I cringe at the thought of someone cutting my belly so…..I guess the tummy tuck is for sure out and if I ever have a c-section, I will NOT be getting a tummy tuck on the side. OUCH!

I have had two kids, one after 35 and my stomach will never be the same (no c sections though), however, I refused pain meds because I am terrified of needles, that means no tummy tuck here. I could not imagine recovering from that and taking care of a little one.

That is just plain crazy! I have had one c-section and was miserable, ad to that a tummy tuck and I would have been one crazy biotch!
We are none the wiser and would have no clue that they had a tummy tuck, just would think they have a miracle body! lol

Having had a c-section I highly doubt I would add more pain for beauty ontop of taking care of a newborn without a nanny and private nurse sha right!

I just don’t think I could do that kind of invasive surgery. I’m such a wimp! But I do know of a blogger friend who is doing one very soon!

A co-worker of mine had discussed doing both at the same time. I love it. I think if I get pregnant again I may choose to go that route. Loosing baby weight is one of the hardest things I have had to do. But at the same time do you really want to risk all the infections and that. I know so many people who have gotten really sick from C-Sections, so it is a tough call. Choices, choices!

So dangerous wow. It takes a while and a lot of work but the weight can come off!

I agree, very dangerous! It takes a brave woman to do this!

I think it’s painful to do these 2 procedures at once… I’ll be mom in a few months, but I want to undergo only a mini tummy tuck procedure, because I’m afraid of surgeries. However, I’ve heard that it’s not that bad and of course that I will give it a try… I want to have a smooth, free skin problems.
