Can’t Find a Camp For Your Kid? Try CarolinaSummerCamps.com {Sponsored Post}

Did you wait until last minute to decide what to do this summer? Are your kids sitting at home – bored? Well, this just might be the thing for you! Check out CarolinaSummerCamps.com. They have a comprehensive list of all of the best summer camps available to North Carolina residents without all of the fuss of scouring the internet for hours looking for a camp that your kids will love.

I wish I had known about this site when my daughter was younger. The only camps that we ever found for her that she was interested in was 4-H and a church camp in Virginia. We simply just didn’t realize that there were so many different types of camps out there! For instance, searching in the Winston- Salem section of CarolinaSummerCamps.com, I noticed that there is a Shakespeare camp! Any budding thespian would LOVE this! There are also camps featured by the Children’s Museum of Winston-Salem, the YMCA of Northwest North Carolina, a Nike Tennis Camp at Wake Forest University, plus many, many more! Camp Hanes is also listed, which I highly recommend. My nephews went there a few years and absolutely loved it!

CarolinaSummerCamps.com has all of the information you need in one spot. All of the phone numbers, email addresses, website links and anything else you might need to compare the camps is easily accessible to make your job as a mom (or dad) much easier in the camp selection process. CarolinaSummerCamps.com also offers great tips for parents on how to save on the camp tuition price in the Parent’s FAQ section. This site also answers other questions such as..
How can parents prepare their children for attending their first summer camp?

• Day camps are more fun when children know at least one other camper who will be attending. Don’t assume that they will be in the same group, let the camp director know your preferences when you initially register your child.
• Take a tour of the facility. Let them view their website ahead of time. The more familiar they are with the environment, the less overwhelming they will feel.
• For residential camps, make sure that this isn’t the first time your child will be sleeping away from home. Let them practice overcoming their separation anxiety with a couple of sleep-overs with friends or family before going to a residential camp.

and…

How do parents find if a summer camp has had any complaints filed against them?

• Look up the camp on the Better Business Bureau for any grievances. (BBB.org)
• Ask your friends through social media (Facebook, Twitter, MySpace, etc.) if they have had any positive or negative experiences with the camp. Your friends will tell you!

So, if you are looking for somewhere fun and educational to send your child this summer, make sure you check out CarolinaSummerCamps.com. I believe it will make your job searching for a suitable camp that your child will love much easier!

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
