Yesterday in Radford, VA.

A couple of days ago, I tried on everything in my closet. I have been losing weight doing the Medifast Go! program and I have been able to wear clothes that I have not been able to wear for years or even ever. For instance, I was able to get into this pair of Levi’s that I bought as inspiration a few years ago. And now they are getting loose on me. I love those jeans but trust, I will be totally cool donating them when they get too big for me. 😉

“I put my blue jeans on. I put my old blue jeans on.”

Inspiration Clothes and Cleaning Out My Closet

If you are like me, you have purchased inspiration clothes in the past in hopes that you would one day get into them. These are clothes that you felt would inspire you to lose the weight necessary to wear them. Yeah, I have lots of clothes like that. Clothes that I have had for literally years. And now I am finally getting into many of them. And what is even cooler is that I have these really funky patchwork jeans that I always loved. I used to wear them when I worked at this place called ICT. This was many years ago when I lived in Blacksburg, like around 2002ish. I married Jay in 2007 and he never saw me in the patchwork jeans because I was too big for them by then. I tried them on 2 days ago and I can now get them on! So now I can get into jeans in my 40s, that I wore in my 20s, that I was never able to get into at all in my 30s. I can’t quite get them buttoned yet [well I could if I laid down on the bed with the struggle is real but I am not about that life anymore] but I am almost there. I tell you, I was so happy to get those jeans on that I almost cried. Legit.

Today outside Washington DC

I travel a lot. In the past month, I have been to Myrtle Beach, Sevierville and Pigeon Forge and, as I write this, I am sitting right outside Washington DC. Medifast Go! works with my travel schedule pretty well, too. I really like the Medifast bars that I can just shove in my purse and go. Also, the food is shelf safe and most hotels that I stay in have microwaves in the room so that works pretty well for me.
