Easy Holiday Chocolate Bonbons Recipe | The New ClassyCheap Is The New Classy

Have you ever had guests show up at your house unexpectedly? Well, that can happen around the holidays. And if you are like me, you don’t always have something tasty prepared. Well, if you find yourself in this position, you could always whip up a batch of these Holiday Chocolate Bonbons. These super easy bonbons take only a few minutes prep, are cheap to make and involve just a few ingredients. That’s my kind of holiday. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Holiday Bonbons Recipe

Easy Holiday Chocolate Bonbons Recipe | The New Classy

You Will Need…
2 8 ounce packs of cream cheese
2 14.3 ounce sandwich cookies packs
7 ounces while chocolate
7 ounces milk chocolate
3.5 ounces dark chocolate
*I used chocolate that I had on hand but you can pick up all of these ingredients at Save-A-Lot.

How To Prepare…
1.Use a food processor to blend the sandwich cookies fully. The Nutri Ninja 2-in-1 works great for this.
2. Add the cream cheese and blend the ingredients together until smooth.

3. With your fingers or an ice cream scoop, roll little balls from the mixture and freeze until firm.
4. Melt chocolate {keep the types separated in the microwave in 30 second increments, stirring between sessions, until melted thoroughly.
5. Dunk balls into melted chocolate and let cool.

6. Drizzle the bonbons with a different flavor chocolate for decoration.

    oh these sound interesting. I usually keep cookie logs frozen in the freezer for when guests pop by to cut up and toss in the oven!

    I would use this gift card to help buy food and the cookies we love from Sav a Lot. I love bonbons. Walmart use to have them in a clear bag with there candy/chocolate items and they were very affordable but I haven’t been able to find them in some time. They have them in the more expensive brands.

    Delicious! I love homemade candy far better than store bought. Same as cookies, bars, and other Christmas treats. These sound like they would go perfect in my treat jar that sits on the counter this time of the year.

    My favorite holiday treat is stollen. I only make it at this time of year, and I bake several loaves to give as gifts. But I always make sure there’s a loaf or two for us to enjoy. (And yes, I do consider stollen to be a treat!)
