Places To Eat At Dollywood: Red’s Drive-In #travel #Dollywood AD

Places To Eat At Dollywood: Red's Diner #travel #DollywoodCheap Is The New Classy

On a recent press trip to Dollywood, I got to eat at Red’s Drive-In for the first time. I really love a good burger and this restaurant has some of the best I have ever tasted. Some great features of Red’s are the Coca-Cola Freestyle Machine, the nostalgic diner atmosphere and the free charging stations just outside the restaurant.

Red’s Drive-In features a cold bar with tomatoes, lettuce, onion, condiments, etc, so that you can fix your burger just as you like. As you can see, I like mine with tomatoes and onion – no lettuce! So, it was great to fix it myself instead of peeling the things I don’t care for off. I really hate to waste.

Jay likes his burger with mustard, ketchup, onions and pickles. There aren’t many places that have burgers already made to our different specifications. So, the fact that we can choose our own toppings works well for us. I imagine this is quite fun for kids, too, who would like to be a little more independent.

I love Coca-Cola Freestyle machines and I am glad to see that they are popping up in more restaurants. My current favorite drink is Diet Peach Lemonade. So, that is what I always get when I see one of these machines. I also really like to mix Sierra Mist and Pink Lemonade. You can be as weird as you want to be and I love that. Or you can just get Coca-Cola with Lime. That’s what Jay gets.

The burgers are really big and really good. We feel that you definitely get your money’s worth.

Located in Dollywood at Jukebox Junction, Red’s Drive-In is in the part of Dollywood with all of the vintage looking stores and shops. It’s also located near her tour bus and the museum that houses all of her memorabilia. Also, the new Lightning Rod roller coaster is close by. So the kiddos can all get their scare for the day on the roller coaster while the parents take in the Dolly Parton memories and then you can all meet up for a lunch that will please everyone.

I’ve never been to Dollywood and I’ve never heard of Red’s either. But from the look of it, my 11 year-old would love it. He’s into anything vintage and he might even squeak at this.

I think they do somewhere in the park, but don’t hold me to that. I know that they do have vegetarian options, though.

My SIL and I were talking about how we should visit Dollywood because it’s in between us in NJ and them in FL. We’ve both been wanting to visit for years and we will keep this in mind when we go!

That sounds like a great meet in the middle spot. And staying in the Great Smoky Mountains is awesome. There are so many beautiful views everywhere.
