I participated in an Influencer Activation on behalf of Influence Central for Zarbee’s Naturals. I received a product and a promotional item to thank me for participating.
As anyone who suffers from allergies or asthma knows, boosting one’s immune system is really important. Every Thanksgiving I am sick. Every. Single. One. Trust. I have even missed several Thanksgiving meals with family and I hate that. Well, it’s two days before Thanksgiving and guess who is not sick. So, I thought I would share with you guys some of the changes that I have made that I think have helped boost my immune system. 🙂
Tips To Help Boost Your Immune System
1. Drink Orange Juice – Orange Juice has a lot of Vitamin C. Oh, and it tastes really good. So why not?
2. Stay Hydrated – I try to drink plenty of water now. I used to be pretty bad at getting the hydration that I needed but now I find that the more hydrated I stay, the better I feel.
3. Get Plenty Of Sleep – I am a firm believer in sleep. When I was a teen and in my early twenties, I could stay up all night and then go to work. Not now. I need my sleep. And if I am tired, I take a nap.
4. Try To Reduce Stress – Sometimes that can be easier said than done, I know. However, I find that if I make lists, prioritize and try not to procrastinate, it really helps. Also, I try to limit my time with people who just bring me down.
5. Take Vitamins and Supplements – I take several vitamins and supplements and recently I have added Zarbee’s Naturals Elderberry Gummy Immune Support. Packed with 313% of the Vitamin C you need in a day, as well as many other vitamins and minerals, this supplement can help support a healthy immune function. It’s also made with no animal by-products. As an animal lover, this is very important to me.
The recommended serving suggestion is 3 gummies per day. What I find most interesting is that because they taste food, my husband will actually take Zarbee’s Naturals Elderberry Gummy Immune Support supplements. Trust me. He is not a vitamin or supplement guy. So, I am impressed by this.
Of course, I am not a doctor, but I do know that I am not sick this year for Thanksgiving. And really, when you take a vitamin or supplement, isn’t that what you are hoping for?
